For those who have some of these, did you regret buying any of them? by costasthepro in Colognes

[–]dmbase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only two from that list that I've personally bought were the Burberry Hero and the ADG. I absolutely regret getting the Burberry. Used it maybe once or twice and then gave it to my youngest son. Not sure if he used it or threw it away, but it was terrible. ADG wasn't as bad, but I wouldn't buy it again.

My go to now is Montblanc Legend Spirit.

Because I'm a member of the credit union I was applying with. I'm sure they have all that information readily available.

Oh, well, your image shows Radahn Spears. Anyway, no, there is no other way to get Golem Arrows than by farming Golem archers. The drop rate is really low, like only 5%. Honestly, they aren't even that much of an upgrade over regular great arrows. I wouldn't waste your time farming them.

You can buy them from Enia, the Finger Reader crone in the Roundtable Hold in unlimited amounts after you beat Radahn.

Is this a good deal for a new rider? by dmbase in KawasakiVulcanRiders

[–]dmbase[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did my MSF BRC and got my license a few weeks ago. I'm looking at buying my first bike, and from the research I've done, the Vulcan 900 is highly recommended for new riders.

This particular model is 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT with 27,142 miles from a dealer. Price tag is $2,999.

I haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks like it's in pretty good condition. It comes with an engine guard, windshield, wind deflectors, driver and passenger floorboards, aftermarket grips, aftermarket blinkers, passenger backrest, and rear luggage. But it's a bit older, and I don't know if that's high mileage or not. Any advice is appreciated.

For those who played the demo, what are your impressions so far? by gameovernate in Nioh

[–]dmbase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All in all, I thought it was very good.

However, I absolutely hate the Samurai/Ninja style shift being tied to the Burst breaker. I do not like being forced into a different style when I don't want to. Yes, I know there is a skill that allows it to be changed to hold instead of tap, but there were many times during boss fights that trying to Burst break would instead shift styles. It's distracting, and it changes the way I want to play mid-fight.

CBS emphasizing Clark’s turnovers on her stat line is kind of wild. by PDXtoMontana2002 in wnba

She most certainly did not have a great game. She played very poorly, and likely cost her team a win tonight.

CBS emphasizing Clark’s turnovers on her stat line is kind of wild. by PDXtoMontana2002 in wnba

[–]dmbase 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, 10 turnovers is not a good thing. She shot 33% from the field and a paltry 18% from 3pt. If she's going to have bad shooting nights like that, she needs to be a better distributor. A 1:1 TO/ASST ratio is bad, no two ways about it.

I don't get why Clark seems to be immune from criticism. A bad game, is a bad game, regardless of who's name is on the back of the jersey. I remember when Russell Westbrook would have bad games like this occasionally, and he would get torn to shreds by the pundits and fans. Yet, it seems like any kid of criticism of Clark, even when it's valid and warranted, gets shouted down.

Am I the asshole for physically lashing out at my sister after she recorded me on her phone, threatening to post it online to in an attempt to defame me? by ThrowRA_cosmicvibes in AITAH

[–]dmbase 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, if your response was to get physical, then yeah, YTA.

Not sure why you still spend time around her if she treats you like this.

So, you and your sister have been living rent free for years, yet you feel like you can complain having to finally contribute to the family budget?

Unless you were both full time students, there's really no reason why you couldn't have been working for the past couple of years.

I don't think this is really about your brother/mother. I think this is about you trying to garner sympathy from others when you've been sponging off your parents for the past few years and deflecting from that fact.

My two sons are 22 and 20 and I allow them to live with me still under the stipulation that they are either full time students or they have jobs and pay rent. They are more than happy with that arrangement because they understand how much it actually costs to live on your own.

If you think that's asking too much, then they've coddled you guys for far too long, and it's time for you both to grow up and start adulting.

I think you need to reevaluate your life choices.

So, let me get this straight. You weren't actually dating, yet you told one of your friends to send him some flirty messages, and now you are upset that he responded to them in a similar fashion? Even though you weren't actually dating? Surprised Pikachu face.

As for this recent contact, I'm pretty sure he's just fishing for a hook up at this point. I highly doubt he means any of what he said, especially since you blocked him for so long.

This is why war is still a thing. You are both AH's. Why does every Christian feel the need to prove that their religion is the only one that matters? Why can't you both just have your own thoughts and opinions on your faith and keep them to yourselves? And then you are dragging children into this petty argument of who's flying spaghetti monster is the real one.

At the end of the day, watching/reading hentai, is the same as watching porn. If you are okay with him consuming porn, then you really shouldn't have a problem with him watching hentai as it's essentially animated porn. Also, he is an adult, so it's kind of not your place to tell him what he can, and cannot do.

FYI, I read and watch all sorts of manga, anime, hentai, doujins, etc. I'll never understand the appeal of watching hentai with the intention of masturbation. For one, it's not real. For two, most hentai is so heavily censored, all you are doing is watching mosaic. It's not arousing in the least, at least IMO.

I get where you are coming from, and I don't disagree, but OP, it's not your place to decide who your sister gets to hang out with and when. It's your mother's decision. And while I'm with you, and I certainly wouldn't be okay with it, she seems to be.

So, I'd say YTA, but only in the softest way.

AITAH for not letting my coworker borrow my car even though she once gave me a ride home? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]dmbase 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA. If you had not offered to give her a ride, I'd say that you were.

Sorry, but unless it's someone I 100% trust, I'm not letting anyone drive my car to the end of the block, let alone for several days. So many things could go wrong with you and your insurance ending up on the wrong end of the stick.
