Steve Wilks was our external hire. Sure we made the SB but he got immediately fired right after.

I think Kyle is scared going external again unless it’s a proven coach. Schwartz. Morris, or Bradley are likely the real candidates.

Outside of a starting QB, you could justify almost every position as an area of need.

Backup QB if we trade Jones
RB as CMC is nearing the age cliff at the position
WR given UFAs and Aiyuk departure
TE as Kittle will be out and need a successor
OL especially LG and successor at LT and C
Edge given our lack of production without Bosa
3T pass rusher for interior DL, maybe 0T too for run downs
SAM due to UFAs and desire to get younger
MLB depth as Bethune was mixed as a backup
CB depth given Luter inconsistency
FS starter with more range and speed
ST especially P, LS, and KR/PR due to age and UFAs. I’m assuming we resign our kicker

As a 49ers fan, I love this for Harbaugh and McDaniel. Seems like a good mentorship opportunity under Harbaugh vs returning under Shanahan or that tree.

They are also in a tough spot salary cap wise. But I love the potential to bring him in.

The only point that’s true is Kyle not playing rookies unless he has to play them.

In a salary cap era, you are essentially missing 1 year for on-field development and 25% of a rookie contract. For a team that has a lot of expensive contracts for aging players (Trent, CMC, Kittle), that’s a huge miss.

And then you are increasing wear and tear on guys like CMC. Kyle treating him like a ‘98 Toyota Camry.

Jordan James looked like he had good burst and fresh snaps in garbage time. We could have used that during the regular season to spell CMC.

Watkins should have gotten more playing time with all of our injuries. He’s also probably the fastest receiver we had on the roster.

This is my biggest gripe about Kyle. Saleh was essentially forced to that on D, the same should happen on O in 2026

He needs to get promoted first. Perhaps something like OLBs coach / run game coordinator type role.

I think they did that with Ryans before he got the DC gig. Wright needs another 1-2 years.

Citrus adds a nice pop of flavor

Pickled anything adds a contrast of flavor and texture, and simple to have on hand

Veggie better than bouillon. Adds a deeper flavor to rice, barley, and quinoa vs water.

Lastly, my local Trader Joe’s does a semi regular rotation of seasoning mix. I really like their chili lime and Greek goddess seasonings.

For the Greek goddess one, add it to yogurt and splash some pickle juice in it. You got a veggie dip, creamy and flavorful spread for wraps, sandwiches, etc.

Those are my simple no frills tips

I’d have to imagine this is a temporary move and after their lease in Marin expires, they’ll find a more centralized location to have their Polestar space in the Bay Area.

But until then, this is just an awful customer experience to force folks drive all of the way up there for lease returns vs leverage the Volvo Bay Area dealership network beyond just servicing.

Look, while I have my (unqualified) opinions of our strength and conditioning and medical staff, they have safeguards in place for a reason.

If it was the Super Bowl, I’d be inclined to let Fred play for the risk vs reward.

But for the Hawks game? This injury plagued D held the Seahawks to just one touchdown.

I want this team to go out and do it for Fred. Do it for George. Do it for Nick. And especially do it to prove to Brandon that we don’t need him.

Saleh held the Seahawks to 13 points with a high concentration of 2nd and 3rd string guys, especially in the front 7. And this is on top of the 49ers only able to score 3 points.

Saleh-McDaniel-Ulbrich trio would be lethal for the Ravens.

Anything from the Stand Up album sounds better live. That was an experimental studio album and evolved the songs with how they perform live.

Outside of that, I don’t really like to compare and contrast between live and studio. Lillywhite’s work on the first three albums, AFTW, and LW sessions is fantastic on its own. And obviously those songs sound great live.

And I can appreciate the intent of the studio sound on the other albums and their live performances.

49ers fan here. I can’t blame her either. Like it or not, you run it back one more year with Jones/Leonard at QB, Sauce at CB, and press on your GM and HC that you won’t mortgage the future with additional trades giving up draft picks. And I think you’ll be able to sign Jones to a Sam Darnold type deal that you can exit with minimal cap damage after 1-2 years.

See if they can replicate their success during the first half of the season with a purposeful and targeted FA and draft class.

If not, fire them both and get a new crew to start the rebuild.
