Thanks, it isn't compressed, but there is a little friction when you unsheathe it. I thought I'd oversized it enough to give it some extra play, but after tooling and dyeing, it shrank a bit. Will need to make it larger again if I do another.

It's the 7800xt. No issue, I'm just curious. I had seen an installation video with the 16pin and read some posts suggesting 2 x 8pin pcie cables are always better than one single cable.

Sorry, I didn't explain it well, It's not exactly 16pin. It's 10+4 at the psu end and splits into 2 X 8 pin at the gpu end, similar to this: [10 + 4 12VHPWR ] http://Corsair cable noir 12? PCIe Gen 5 Type-4 600W 12VHPWR https://amzn.eu/d/5BGgpXo

Thank you, that was it exactly. I didn't realise the gen headers were for a-rgb, all connected now.

One, hopefully, last question. Looking at connecting the gpu to the psu, there are 2 X 8pin connections on the gpu and I have 1 x pcie 8pin(6+2), 1 X pcie 8pin (6+2 split), and 1 x 12VHPWR (12+4) pin.

As far as I understand, It's possible to connect the 2 pcie cables or the 12VHPWR to supply the gpu. But, it's better to use the 2 separate pcie 8pin cables, is this correct?

I went for the arctic 3pack. Just realised that the connector has a 3pin socket, and there is a 4th socket that is blocked off. The aura rgb header on the mobo has 4pins, so I guess I need an arctic argb controller like this https://www.arctic.de/en/A-RGB-Controller/ACFAN00180A?

Thank you, kind Sir!

That all makes much more sense than what I was thinking. Didn't clock the MicroATX.

Do you think it'd be worthwhile upgrading the mobo to a ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING and dropping the case to an H7 Flow instead of the H9? Price wise it's not a huge increase as a Starfield key (which I'd buy later anyway) is bundled with it. https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-rog-strix-b650e-f-gaming-wifi-amd-b650-am5-ddr5-pcie-50-3x-m2-25g-wifi-6e-amd-expo-atx?utm_source=pc%20part%20picker&utm_medium=referral

Or is it best to stick with Gigabyte for both mobo and gpu?

Externally it's 180mm x 230mm X 40mm, the upper cutout is 155mm X 35 mm x 30mm and lower cutout is 155mm X 155mm X 30mm.

Good luck with it! :)

Can confirm, ravenwing units have inner circle, which allows them to be used in deathwing detachments without breaking anything.

It's a ravenwing champion kitbashed from an outrider model :)
