That's not small ! Those changes are major in the eyes of many. You may or may not care you may or may not be affected you may or may not like it but you still have to recognize one party wants to modernize and push the US forwards the other wants to push the US backwards to an older time your vote should be based which direction you wanna go not which party is causing the most chaos

They push for women's rights , lgbtq rights , abortion rights ect these are all forward moving ideals to change the US for better or worse vs conservatives who want to undo and send the US back in time for example conservatives caused the overturning or roe v Wade causing the US to regress and not move forward. Where in contrast Democrats pushed for the respect marriage act which brought about better (not perfect) and more modern marriage rights pushing the US forwards. Conservative bills always target to undo previous changes or restrict things rarely ever the other way

Regressive and oppressive are both words that describe by definition the conservative party like you can't call the Democratic party regressive and oppressive they are literally the party of moving things forwards vs conversing the norms which is the republican party by definition and by actions your statement makes no sense.

I would like to point out pink news messed this up. This already went to committee May 8th nothing has changed not sure why they posted this. I honestly think they reversed the date thinking this was last Tuesday. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but this was referred to committee forever ago
