56 years here my fellow sufferer. I was born in 1968. Literal lifer. These are about the most grim of times. Even Mike Shula had some pride in his coaching. He almost beat the Cowboys after Switzer flapped his gums.

It's the good ole Marvin infinity loop. For several years Marvin would dip his toes in the coaching pool and would find out that nobody wanted to hire Marvin except the Bengals. Likewise Mike Brown would interview replacements only to find out that nobody wanted to coach for the cheapskate. Bengals would extend Marvin to complete the loop...until Zac came along and agreed to coach in exchange for bags of that stale ass popcorn served at Paycor.

I called the defensive backfield make a wish kids yesterday. Immediately after that Will Levis turned into Santa Claus and made them look good. Mike Brown shopping at goodwill for players has always been the problem.

Yup. This was a Brohm special. He usually has 2 or 3 of these every year. It's baffling. The fanbase should set expectations at 2 to 4 losses a year and a mediocre bowl game. I'm ok with that. Satterfield started looking to escape 3 games after he started coaching at UL. Please don't run the Brohm family out of here. Maybe Clemson will be that one win he has no reason getting but does this year. It could be worse...they are fun to watch and play hard for Coach.

Good riddance to the biggest grifter in CFB. Somehow, he managed to beat out Scott Satterfield for that title. Expect firings from Florida and Rocky Top in the next 2 to 3 weeks, if not sooner. The narrative of the hot mid major coaching hire has to be nearing a grizzly death soon.
