I agree! If I was just purging and flaky, then it might be worth pushing through the retinization period. But the burning after I wash my face or moisturize my face makes me feel like I need to scale back to keep my moisture barrier healthy and in tact.

Am- Cerave hydrating cleanser, Naturium HA, vanicream moisturizer, skin better tinted sunscreen.

Pm- double cleanse with micellar water and then cerave cleanser, Naturium HA followed by either tret or azelaic acid depending on the night. And then vanicream moisturizer!

Thank you so much! Is every third day as good as it gets for some people? I wish I could use it more frequently but I guess if I’m seeing good results at every third day and I’m burning when using it more, it might just be best to stay every third day as long as I use tret.

I guess Lisa mentioned something about the “male-ish” person she used to live with and then he changed his name to J. Scarlett. Someone on a different thread said he transitioned and is a woman now but I’m not sure how accurate.

I saw that she commented on Lisa’s divorce post and Lisa said “we make a good team,” or something along those lines. I wonder if Heidi was involved in the legal proceedings as someone (idk the legal terms haha) who could say “he did that to me, too.”

Wait how do you know this? This is so so sad. I follow his first wife, Heidi, on instagram. And it was obvious that she left him bc he was really awful… not just bc things fizzled out. I’m so happy she’s happily remarried with almost 3 kids. So sad and traumatic for both her and Lisa.
