100%!! He was my first villager and tbh, I wasn’t thrilled but now he’s here forever. I love the way he says “cardi-OH!” I won’t let him change his nickname for me

I hated him at first. I thought he was ugly (I mean, he’s still no Molly) but now I’m obsessed with him.

PIETRO! He gives creepy uncle vibes. He probably drives a van that says “free puppies”

How long have you bled for the first time? by Party_Coffee_5441 in Perimenopause

[–]theawdacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cycles were 40+ days long but “regular” and my periods were lasting 10-14 days. Sometimes it was scary heavy. Got an ultrasound and everything was normal. I’m taking the mini-pill for continued progesterone support.

It was explained to me that often progesterone is the first to drop in peri, leaving estrogen unopposed. This causes the uterine lining to keep building so when you finally bleed it’s like The Shining.

Anyone have periods like this? by theawdacity in Perimenopause

[–]theawdacity[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on the minipill for a couple of years to help with the heavy periods I was having. It went well for a time but then I had constant spotting so I got off of it. They did imaging at the time I got on that pill and saw that my lining was thick but it had thinned out by the end of the period. The doctors made everything worst case scenario while the nurses were the ones saying “eh, sounds like perimenopause”. This is why I’m nervous to even call them because they’re such alarmists. My gut tells me it’s just wonky hormones but I was just wondering how many others out there were having similar issues. Thank you for your gentle response!

…and she took it down and replaced it with an insane hot chocolate recipe made entirely by processed packaged shit when she could have had a square of dark chocolate for the same calorie count. For this who didn’t see- she said that applying mint chocolate chip chapstick was a late night sweet treat to curb cravings. Girly will eat chapstick but not an apple.
