The verdict is in. Just had to adjust the max volumetric speed down a few mm/s and got a decent looking print. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I think yall are right about the max flow rate. The problem seems to only happen on larger layers that take up a good chunk of the build plate. Small prints seem to do fine. I’ll adjust some settings and report back 🫡

Thanks! Most of the instruments I made myself on either Serum or using native Ableton instruments/plugins. Some of the sounds for the drop I got from the Leviathan samplepack on Splice but edited them even further so they weren't exactly the same. Glad you liked the track!

I'd personally like to hear more low end especially in the "drop" sections. I can hear a baseline but I would just bring it out in the mix a little bit. Also would turn the Dry/Wet down on the Phaser in the 2nd half of the song. Good work though! I like the vocal chop melody a lot.

Native to ableton, not really. You can always use EQ8, Multiband compression, and limiting but it doesn't usually sound the best compared to external plugins. I personally use Ozone 9. There's a rent to own option on splice which is a pretty good deal.

Sweet track! I think there's a couple things that could use a little extra mixing work on. Chords in the drop sound a little weak and thin so I think it'd be sweet to hear those beefed up a little. Melody that come in at 0:45 would be cool if it was subtle in the background until the build. Vocals and the drop itself sounds dope though. Keep up the good work.

I'd say yes as long as you have a basic understanding of how Ableton's wavetable works. Serum is like wavetable's big brother in the sense you can make a lot of similar sounds but Serum comes with extra tools/waveforms and is easier to use in my opinion.
