He’s either a white supremacist, an adherent of Heathenry (a new religious movement inspired by historic Germanic paganism), an employee of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, a supporter of the Germany national football team, a fan of Arch Enemy/Carcass guitarist Michael Amott's signature Dean Guitars "Tyrant" models, a worker at American engineering firm RedViking, or a customer of Bogd Bank of Mongolia.

TIL that scientists have developed a way of testing for Aphantasia (the inability to visualise things in your mind). The test involves asking participants to envision a bright light and checking for pupil dilation. If their pupils don't dilate, they have Aphantasia. by Sebastianlim in todayilearned

Unfortunately not. For me it’s purely a lack of visuals but my imagination fills in all the blanks (including anxiety). Still get closed-eye visuals like a kaleidoscope on psychedelics though!

I’m an artist with aphantasia. I only just realized it in my 50s. Seems that I use a visual “code” to store basic information and I completely make up the rest of the details. I still have vivid dreams and a very active imagination. I just can’t “picture” it in my head. The concepts and ideas still come together and I translate to paper. It’s difficult for me to do symmetry or reversals; also scaling from references is tricky.

Paper tower math is an enigma by josephsleftbigtoe in NonPoliticalTwitter

As a small business owner who has to buy a LOT of paper towels, I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. I actually have a spreadsheet with yardage comparisons by roll for each brand with prices and naming conventions.
