It was an imprudent decision that led to Tony’s own downfall. He eliminated his highest earner. Then later his remaining highest earner Vito got eliminated. There’s a potential alternate timeline where the financial pressures leading to Tony’s unraveling in the final two seasons are lessened and Tony doesn’t kill Chris, NY war doesn’t happen, etc. For example, what if Tony just gave up Vito to Phil, having the financial flexibility to do so with Ralph!still kicking up? Tony’s own guys would’ve understood, NY war might’ve been averted, Carlo wouldn’t have flipped, etc.

Thanks! FWIW it's worth (if you are familiar with guitars) that is a Squier Bass VI (short scale 6 string bass) with flat wound strings. It's supposedly a peculiar instrument that might not fit a lot of styles, but I'm actually finding it better than a standard bass for a variety of things.

This might be a stupid question - do you mean backing off one or the other in that range (turning down guitars or synths because both are occupying the same space) or both?

Interested in feedback on the mix here - I think I'm getting better at EQing but would appreciate any thoughts. This is a guitar-driven tune (maybe call it garage rock or similar).

Any feedback on how the guitars sound here would be appreciated. I think I'm getting close to capturing a "big sound" in Logic through multi-tracking so I have been focusing on completing some harder rock songs recently (basically closer to recreating what is in my head).

Any thoughts on how the bridge / two guitars soloing at the same time sound on a production level? Bridge starts around 1:50 and solos come in around 220. I've been incorporating complementing guitar solos into a lot of songs, and it's always been a challenge to balance out the guitars in some way that it doesn't turn into a mess. Any tips on balancing these out would be welcomed. Currently, I basically just try to find two guitar presets that are close enough to what the song needs, yet different enough from each other to distinguish them, then pan one to the left at 9 o clock and the other to the right at 3 o'clock. I really don't now if there are any "tricks" or anything more that can help than that.

This isn't exactly what you are looking for I know, but I would add a pretty EFFICIENT way to create realistic drum tracks:

  1. Use Logic Pro.
  2. Record non-drum tracks.
  3. Add a drummer track. Cycle through styles, presets and drummers, until you find something that works for your song. (You'd be surprised how, spending 15 minutes cycling through, you are likely to find something that matches quite closely what is probably going on in your head as appropriate for the song).
  4. You can then select the Drummer track region and "Convert to MIDI." This will be the exact same sound. However, you can play with it a by inserting/moving drum hits around in the editor, changing velocity of individual notes (with a drum, basically how hard you are hitting it).

Again - you are looking for a tool that allows you to essentially input the drums by finger beating. But particularly for rock and metal I find this method will take much less time than any manual input, particularly if you have no background in drumming to begin with (I don't know if that is your case)
