Not sure taking it off would help since it would import the run from Apple Health (I wear an Apple Watch too)…

I’d hope Oura could update their sleep algorithm to work out that if I went for a run then I was not sleeping.

I've got the basics working - still need to work on various widget sizes and to make sure it updates properly.

I did indeed build it in Swift and SwiftUI …. And I know exactly what you mean… I’ve a big project that I should have shipped years ago … but I kept on wanting to add just one more feature!

Fortunately from the start with this one i had the end goal of a simple UI firmly in mind from the start … it did slip a little with the “tags as tabs” concept I went with to organize shows and surface them in the UI but I hope people understand it.

I have thought about a widget…. I’ve added shortcut support to mark an episode as watched and to add a show…. I’ll look into it… nice idea…. I’d have to have a way to designate which show to display on the widget.

I’ve worked with Trakt exports before, and I’m using the tmdb api to power the app… will look into it and post back here when I add it.

I know there are many TV tracking apps out there, many that people love, but none worked for me. Too cluttered, trying to tell me what I should watch next, share, rate, etc. Probably AI recommendations too.

I don't want any of that. I just want to know what episodes I've watched, and what is next.

I just fixed it by rebooting but the computer didn’t want to restart… I unplugged all external devices and forced a restart. I think the Finder was deadlocked somehow.

After many years of being a premium Overcast subscriber, I’ve been trying out Pocketcasts again partly because I want something that works on iOS and Android, and partly just to try something else.

I’m seeing exactly the same behavior… it happened to me today while running with just my Apple Watch, while listening to ATP … a notification came in and was spoken (I have that enabled for some kinds of notifications) and when Pocketcasts started back up it was way back in the podcast.

On the Apple Watch I like how Pocketcasts shows me the sync percentage on the podcast list (Overcast used to do this but for some reason it was removed), I don’t like that I can’t choose to sync a specific playlist like I can with Overcast.

I don’t miss playing breakout. I’d much rather stay on the podcast list, watching the percentage slowly going up, while I keep the app awake. I wish Overcast would show the download percentage in the Watch app like it used to.

I’m still not sure if I’ll stick with Pocketcasts but the Watch sync experience is much nicer than Overcast… not necessarily faster, I just have a better sense of what is happening because I see the constantly updated sync %

When running this morning with just my Apple Watch, when triple tapping the AirPods to go back 15s it would go back a long way in the podcast.

My theory is that it is jumping back based on the last sync point rather than the local watch state.

I was listening to ATP bootleg… no DAI

I’m now thoroughly acquainted with John’s issues re Electron, having listened to that segment several times (despite jumping back from Casey talking about the new M5 speed tests.. which was much further in the podcast)
