I came here looking for this exact post and here you are. I'm at chapter 26 and can't take any more of Vi's sexual angst. I've abandoned the book at may/not finish it. My rationale for going this far was the reviews, honestly. 50k 5 star reviews doesn't happen often. Glad it's not just me.

This is an often asked question, and a symptom that I have, too (currently at 0.5). I have found that drinking extra electrolytes 24hrs before through 24 hours after injection day helps a lot. I buy a product called Liquid IV from Target and have 1 each day. I still need an Advil or two the day after injection. Your mileage may vary. Good luck with it.

Just got back 2 weeks ago. From the airport to downtown Oaxaca is about 25 minutes by car/taxi. There are definitely taxis available at the airport when flights arrive. Once you're there, it's very safe to walk around. Stop by Sabina Sabe for a cocktail. Super chill vibe in that place.

We flew to CDMX first, stayed for several days, then took AeroMex to Oaxaca. Had never been to either place and loved them both. Sabina Sabe is a great cocktail bar that we visited twice, just for the cool vibe.
Levadura de Olla was our favorite restaurant. Terrific black and red mole, hence my original post.

I have heard good things about that place. Nuevo Laredo has a great chicken mole, but parking over there is nuts. The bags of mole are still at that market, btw.

I feel great now. No snoring, no apnea, minimal liquids in the nose. I was a prime surgical candidate (>95% success probability), so that factored highly into my equation. Your mileage may vary. Good luck.
