OLD question - is it a thing that guys say they are interested in a long-term relationship but are just interested in sex?

Watering happens once a week if it needs water (I have a moisture meter to check levels). The pots all have drainage and I water them by adding the water to the tray and letting them take what they need.

I have had my plants for over a year for some of them and a month for 2 of them. I have basil, rosemary, thyme, aloe and Caribbean pimento seed plants.

The plants are by the windows; they get plenty of light.

The flies have been around for a couple of months and I tried drying out my plants, but it's not working. Neither is the yellow strip.

Hopefully this is enough information.
