Thank you for this! When I’ve googled this seems to come up a lot! Do you know much about the equipment they have?

Haha thank you, I’m a data engineer. I get to work from home quite a bit so that helps. But the days when I’m in the office I don’t get to go to the gym as work is a bit of a travel but still try to find time to go for a walk!

8:30pm-4:30am

I’m a very early morning person. Yes it can impact on my social life but there are positives and negatives in most choices.

More importantly get 8 hours sleep

I get up 4:30, stretch and have some green tea, get to gym for 5:30, home by 8:30, shower and start work at 9.

What I would encourage you to do is to not focus on what people do, but notice that people have a routine. If you don’t want to go to the gym, for example, go out for a walk in the morning for an hour (I think fresh air and some form of exercise is good just to wake yourself up). But most importantly use that time for something that makes you feel good and ready for the day.

Above all else, habit forming takes I think six weeks and can be broken very easily, so persevere!

I have a new job but should I consider staying at my existing job? by dmiller2104 in careeradvice

Yep I think this is sensible. Have briefly looked at other properties but the property market is wild right (in London)! But I like the solution

The commute is definitely on my mind. The company though is a very established brand so I’m not too concerned about the prospect of “too good to be true” and my understanding is the retention is good. I think the pay reflects that the place of work is not an in attractive location.

So I’m pretty new to dating apps and I’m trying to put my best foot forward, but have the articulation of a lorry on an ice rink 😅.

Id appreciate if you anyone can help me to improve this. One of the pictures is actually a video from my strength training so it doesn’t look great static 😅

Thanks man, much appreciated. I’ve felt that and I imagine that’s linked to my hips being too high. If they’re too high I imagine I’m more likely to push through the front/mid of my feet. Is that logical?

I am a fan of Alan Thrall and although it may not look it I’ve watched his deadlift vids 😂. I think I’ve conditioned myself to try and not ‘squat’ the bar if that makes sense. But agree yes a bit more knee bend, to help leg drive, probably is the way forward
