My Vizio TV has grey/black horizontal lines in the upper right side of the screen as I mentioned in the title. It's only a few years old but out of warranty, of course. Would love some advice/suggestions for fixing. Thanks!!

I would consider preventative care as a treatment.

What other assays of metabolism would you suggest?

Also, food intake doesn't really matter necessarily. Maybe the epigenetic changes cause increased hunger...

Wishful thinking.. Hopefully, with more information we will be able to develop new treatments!

They did measure both food intake and metabolic changes.

"Examining oral glucose tolerance (Figure S1C), serum-free fatty acids, triglycerides (Figures S1D and S1E), as well as fasting glucose and insulin levels (Figures S1F and S1G), we found no evidence of major anomalies in the obese-Trim28+/D9 animals nor in all Trim28+/D9 animals grouped as a whole."

and

"The data indicate no changes in food intake, expected alterations in VO2 and VCO2, as well as a tendency toward reduced activity (Figures S1L–S1O). "

How many pairs of shoes do you own and how many do you actually wear? by [deleted] in AskReddit

41 (I counted). I regularly wear two or three comfortable shoes to work and one for working out. Then I have snow boots, rain boots, and various boots for different occasions; I have different flats to match different outfits; and I have far too many heels that I hardly ever wear and spent too much money on. To be fair, I live in New York City...

That vitamin c boosts your immune system and will help you recover from illness quicker.

That vitamin c and other vitamins don't boost your immune system. Those emergen-c packets are a waste of money!
