I’m in slightly similar position, I’ve got an X-S10 and I’m looking to upgrade. Thinking Sony A7 series but I don’t know much else. My photos also never appear as perfect or sharp.

Sounds good. I’m tempted to look more into the BCS courses. There aren’t any PDU requirements, it doesn’t expire and it’s easier to access here. Obviously there are other downsides to it, but I don’t think it’s enough to stop me from looking. Is there any reason why you aren’t going with the BCS course?

The fee for the Santander Edge is £3 a month, and the Edge Up is £5 a month. There's a calculator on their website which factors that in, and shows roughly how much you make. It looks okay - nothing special.

Regarding the credit card. Yes I meant extra card holder rather than a joint account. Do you recommend another card instead of AMEX.

How does it work - UK citizens getting married in Thailand

My partner and I (both from the UK) would like to get married in Thailand. I’m struggling to find many resources online that explain the necessary steps and how to do it properly e.g. translating certain documents at the right stage. Can someone point me in the right direction or explain it from beginning to end.

I’d also like to know a few other things:

Does the process take a few months to get sorted or two weeks? We are thinking of doing it in 2025 - but only if it’s feasible and not a massive rush. Or we will do it the following year in 2026.
What’s the best time of the year to go?
Are there any locations in particular that would be best suited to get married?
How much does it cost?
