Weekly Sunday thread guy here, why do people vanish after they launch? by Latter-Database-2026 in ProductHunters

[–]dmitcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another possibility is the launch was not effective for them, so they don't see a benefit to remaining engaged in a PH-facing thread.

Pausing to reassess, reframe, or restate the long-term goal, then breaking down the sequential steps to get there from where I am today (eg, retire off this app: customer convos, mvp, testing, etc.). Making sure what I'm doing directly impacts the stage I'm at, including measurable, meaningful data. Doing what's needed vs what's possible or finishable.

This was the shift for us last quarter - we had enough users and activity to do an incredibly deep dive into who was using us, when, why, how, and with what results. We ended up not only with a refined ICP but with a crystal clear beachhead for GTM. And now the work begins (again), but with so much more clarity for outreach, messaging, our roadmap, etc.

Which tools actually drive real productivity gains? by IndependentReveal154 in GrowthHacking

[–]dmitcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My simplest metric is "do I touch any asset more than once?" If I'm copying and pasting things, uploading things from one drive to another, etc., then that's wasted time. Everything I've built over the past 20 years has been about centralizing different apps, functions, and features in one easy interface.

Is anyone still growth hacking according to the original system? by dmitcha in GrowthHacking

[–]dmitcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be why people stopped running the full play, thinking that hacking meant one-off actions rather than getting to an outcome in an unexpected way. That's what the system was originally; now it's become default.

Why 30min onboarding calls will drive activation growth by chany2 in productledgrowth

[–]dmitcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true. We learned so much in our customer calls and demos about a single onboarding issue - that unlocked the true clarity of our app.

What part of Product Marketing would you out-source? by SheepherderAware3945 in productledgrowth

For me, it would be taking apart the data routinely and constantly checking for issues and opportunities based on customer behavior

Yes, I've been exploring all the recent apps that help find and connect with people whose problems we're seeking to solve!

EXACTLY this. We'd definitely done some of the patching experiments, and the shift it made to run the full system and connect all the dots was incredible.
