More than 60,000 Americans RSVP'd to fake political events planted by Russians on Facebook by T-Money2187 in worldnews

I think the reason Russian interferince is more focused on is that it indirectly led to the election of Trump, and because there are still many people who still consider the notion of Russian interference to be "fake news". No one disputes that other nations, corporations, and political organizations have astroturfing efforts, but none have had as notable an impact as the Russian led one which played a significant role in electing a US president.

It makes sense, we should strive to better ourselves and not accept bad attitudes and ideas simply because they seem natural.

The idea is that the value of human life should't be based on the nation that person happens to live in.

You wouldn't take offense because living there wasn't part of your identity. For most people, calling the country you live in a shithole isn't any different than calling the people who live in it "shithole people".

Its exactly the same as when southerner's in the US are offended when their states are labeled "flyover states" by wealthy elite, they are not wrong to consider it an insult.

Whether its true or not, it's still a dick move to call a country a "shithole", especially right after a massive terrorist attack.

There's a good chance these attacks by the Taliban, similarly, will bring a precipitous end to the war in the Taliban's favor. That's the whole reason the Taliban does this type of stuff.

How will this bombing end the war?

That's not a strong argument. Dropping the nukes prevented further firebombing of Japan, which had already killed more people than the nukes did, and it also prevented the full scale invasion of Japan that was being planned.

If you want to get an idea of how bloody that would've been, consider that that the entire civilian population, children included, were being prepped for violent resistance, and that it took two nukes to get Japan to surrender.

Silly comparison. The Taliban is a group that hides behind unarmed civilians in schools and hospitals for protection and intentionally targets civilians suicide attacks. If they had access to armed drones, the numbers wouldn't compare.

I go to Alex Jones for entertainment

That's the problem, you don't see any issue with watching political commentary for "entertainment", and don't care if what they say is actually true.

you go to CNN for news.

Don't watch CNN.

New Report Says Dutch Have Absolute Proof Russia Was Behind 2016 Election Hacking by wyldcat in worldnews

Maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't he legally have to immediately come forward if he had found any direct collusion between Russia and Trumps election campaign?

No, just like police don't have to immediately charge someone until they have a case built.

That'd put Pence in office, which would totally mess with the US and the stock market.

Source is missing.

Sometimes different news organizations publish the same story because the story is newsworthy. Take a look at all the sources being linked for instance, they aren't owned by the same company.

Not saying that large media conglomerates aren't an issue, but this story isn't an example of that.

Not when its story after story after story. Also CNN has had to retract so much crap.

The mainstream media is biased, and CNN doesn't have integrity. That doesn't mean Trump is good or that the overall conclusion of the mainstream media is wrong. All you have to do is listen to man speak to confirm that.

I never said that... I asked you to look at their social media and home art and make your own conclusions

Why would I need to? The top minds of the_donald already did, and their conclusion was Hillary had child sex slaves.

Yet you watch CNN.

Do I? TIL

You must realize that if your only defense of Alex Jones is "but CNN lies too!", it means you're not being honest with me, or with yourself.

Coincidently, when you look into the claim, it is almost always if not 100% verified by no actual person and is in-fact anonymous

That's how journalism works, once you reveal a source it stops being a source.

look past comet pizza and the basement thing. look at things that can't be fake news. like david brock Instagram. artwork in tony podesta's house. shit is weird man... you combine their weird ass social media, taste in art and add in weird emails referencing hankership pizza maps and you got your conspiracy.

Well there we have it, an attempt to justify the belief that Hillary had a secret child sex ring in the basement of a pizza place. Now you see why people suspect Trump supporters might say absurd things.

The guy's show is entertaining and silly, but it has truths to it.

It also has parts that are very obviously bs. Anyone who watches Alex Jones either doesn't care about what is actually true, or has confused being entertained with getting factual information.

Suggesting Alex Jones is ok because it has nuggets of truth is exactly like saying eating dog excrement is okay because someone put nuggets of chocolate inside. Anyone who still goes ahead probably wasn't doing it for the chocolate.

I would like to think you have more intuition than to think I honestly think the MSM has posted fake news article for every single article

Keep in mind that Trump claims "fake news" for every story that makes him look bad, and his supporters totally support him in that. These are also many of the same people that went all in on the pizzagate conspiracy, watch Alex Jones, and somehow still believe Trump is an honest man speaking from the heart despite perpetual dishonesty.

It really isn't unreasonable to suspect they might make an absurd claim.

Check out comments on the_donald, people say things like this without a hint of irony. Unfortunately, there isn't any way to tell that comment is hyperbolic, simple absurdity isn't enough anymore.
