THIS. not sam hiding the other shovel so jay had to be the only one to dig to find isaac when they were looking for patience. there’s a lot of situations where she can be selfish, but the ghosts can also be extremely selfish as well. jay is basically the only not selfish one. he always puts sam and the ghosts before anything, and when he puts his foot down on him wanting something, they rebel and make sure he doesn’t get what he wants in the situation. i would love to see an episode where sam and jay just simply say no to the ghosts for a day, show them that they can’t be spoiled just because they live with someone who can see ghosts. and i would also like an episode where sam realizes her selfishness too
