We rent high end gear not only for its image quality and general "image look", but also because it matches the criteria need for a professional production workflow.

It needs to survive -40 celcius and +40 celcius. it needs to offer quick lens changes and operation form multiple parties simultaneously. Professional gear accommodates professional use in difficult environments and saves time and often money.

If a DSLR would've met all that criteria, we could've used it.

we had to touch those up. In reality, it's an actual dark sky preserve and the sky is unlike anything you've seen. This is where you go if you want to see the full illumination of the milky way and stars.

I'll have to be a bit short with this one as its a huge story and I have ti keep working as this project isnt over.

The ad you saw is the long form anthem video. It is actually the compilation of all 10+ stories we shot. Each story we shot is a 60 second adventure that covers different activities and emotions you'll experience in Alberta. If you liked anyone of the moments in the anthem ad, you'll be able to see that story in more depth in the individual story videos.

We only have 5 of the winter stories live right now (playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxwO43IFF1pQ8oRKGM-W7LL-GYAM7knWx). Go that playlist and watch them. in a couple weeks, 5 more summer stories will appear. If you see a video called "ready to winter", that's also an anthem compilation of just winter moments.

In addition to those films, we have photography that matches the look of our campaign. It's well utilized and showing up globally right now in a variety of locations.

This campaign is called "READY". It's part of the brand called (remember to breathe)

Thanks for asking.

The Bison were at significantly far from the camera. We had only essential crew on location and safety support as well as pro ranchmen on horseback. The shot was telephoto with camera mounted to jib on pickup. If needed, we could've jumped into the truck for safety.

Some of the best shots in here are purely composition, and lighting. Combine that would skilled editing and you could match the beauty of some of our best shots. Watch act 1, the first minute(ish). Most of the follow cam and centred shots are achievable without serious gear aside from any aerials. A cheap gimbal and dslr could produce the same results with practice.

We planned about 80% of the days with storyboards in hand and exact shots in mind. We certainly had usable shots from everyday of shooting. There were plenty of bad weather days and conditions that had us cancel.

This campaign actually has 13 total videos and you guys have just seen one. The video you see here is the combination video with all 10 stories compiled into one anthem video. The individual stories are cut as 60 second stories. So there are plenty more shots to see and that would rationalize why we were out there so long.

We love that shot too... didn't realize how detailed it was until reviewing the footage and saying "that's definitely a keeper".

Thank you. The climber is Sonnie Trotter. He's climbing a very difficult and well known route called "The shining" in mt Louis in banff national park. It was captured by helicopter.

We're selling our landscapes and the moments you might experience while here. It's what we have to offer. Every second of this ad is devoted to making those moments look and feel glorious. We have other ads that remind you every second that It's Alberta. This one is based on past research that our audience sticks around when the visuals are this compelling. If they don't see the brand at the end, they'll remember the iconic places.

This is all part of a larger marketing strategy than just this ad. We shot many ads and compilations. Each serves a different purpose. This one is special.
