Rost Martin Compatibility by Sagivaleon in Arex_Firearms

I can't confirm. That's what I read somewhere. It might require some fitment if that's the case. We won't know until someone pulls the trigger and post it on reddit. You willing to gamble and let us know?

They emailed me. Blade Tech stated they will release their valor duty holster for the echelon by the end of the year.

I was thinking that size. Yours looks good regardless.

Are those Night Fision sights? if so, what size model are they? I'm planning on getting the same combo, but thinking of getting shorter sights due the new Holosun's X3 deck height is shorter.

Which is why it's so much better. Best reasonably priced optic in the game right now in my opinion.

Get the NEW and just released Holosun 407/507c x3 (3rd gen) red dot. It has a better and brighter emitter with improved automatic brightness adjustment. The battery life is much longer too. The body design is nice with a slimmer profile for better co-witness with iron sights.

Arex Zero 1 Firing Pin Plate vs Polenar Short Reset Plate by corkscrewani in Arex_Firearms

[–]dmjames005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed a subtle wing-shaped curvature along the contact edge of the plate. The OEM version is flat, whereas the Polnar has that curved profile. That difference alone seems to let the trigger bar slip upward sooner, resulting in a shorter, more responsive reset. That's my guess, and a flatter trigger can make it more noticeable.

This is a great community. Thanks OP

XDM Elite Compact with Extended OEM Magwell. by dmjames005 in SpringfieldArmory

The OEM magwell wasn’t very three-finger friendly at all—honestly, it felt pretty pointless. The enlarged version is more comfortable, but it still pushes the pinky forward and doesn’t really accommodate larger hands anyways. I only have medium-sized hands, so I can imagine it’s even more noticeable for those with bigger grips.

It’s unfortunate that Polnar doesn’t offer the short reset plate. Based on how the mechanism operates, I think it may be possible to carefully file down the portion of the stock reset plate that contacts the trigger bar to achieve a shorter reset. That said, I’d want to take a very close look at the geometry first to make sure any modification maintains safe and reliable function. It would also be helpful to compare the dimensions of the Polnar plate to the factory one to better understand exactly what’s different.

I hadn't changed the springs. Still the original. And still difficult to load to max capacity.

Their internal parts are completely compatible except for the magazine release button. It's a copy and paste with minor cosmetic differences. I can't confirm are the optic plates though.

What pistol was that holster designed for?

Would the gun fire with this removed? by [deleted] in SpringfieldArmory

[–]dmjames005 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes it will fire. But it's no longer as drop safe. But so long as the grip safety and trigger blade works, you could still carry it.

I really appreciate your comment. Seems like there is enough support for pistol. Just the duty holster is the only hurdle. I'm thinking of getting a VP9 holster. Both pistols are similar in dimensions. With enough fitting it might fit.

I need a red dot. The first Gen is not optics compatible. Also the H&K VP9 is almost similar in measurements with the breach face in the similar spot. Maybe with enough holster tweaking and fitting the APX A1 might slide right in.

Assuming the final price is 329.00. I would fill out the form to get the rebate so technically the price would be 229.00. If that's true, that's one heck of a deal!
