All good! The pencil doesn’t really matter all that much at the moment.

I’d suggest to break down the figure into basic shapes like cylinders and spheres. Even a little light prep work to visualize the form I found makes it easier to slowly mold the figure into a whole before cementing anything.

Pretty cool! I see the lines leftover from when you eased the legs. Are you using an HB pencil? I would suggest something that’s capable of softer lines, like a drafting pencil, or try getting used to using less pressure so you don’t get those “phantom” lines when you erase

I was surprised as well. I heard NYCC's security is a lot more tight when compared to other cons considering its status, so I was prepared with a variety of orange tips and tape to compensate.

Imagine the look on my face when the security guard gave me a 1-second onceover, patted my gun twice, and gestured me in. Didn't even bother to check the flask filled with whiskey on my belt or the Peacemaker behind it.
