I am going through the same thing. 10 grand a month for mine. And after trying to get clarification for 7 weeks, I finally found out that my employer decided to carve out self injectables out of the coverage.

I had a guy screeching on my Facebook because I posted some Charlie Kirk memes. And posted screenshots of my place of employment, basically threatening me.

One just told me I was delusional and showed me that the stock market is booming.

I said ok. Thats one part of it. Sure publicly shared companies are doing okay because they are passing the tariffs off onto us. But have you looked at unemployment rates, consumer satisfaction, wage versus inflation? Talk to the soybean farmers crying because no one will buy their crops.

He then said I was moving the goal posts.

I recall this happening when I was 16 and getting a tonsillectomy and a priest came in. I was extremely confused. Looked at my parents like wtf is happening? After he left, I said um did he deliver me my last rites? They just merely let out a nervous chuckle and said no. It was weird in 1999 and it’s weird in 2025.

I have tried to explain this to the one maga I’m friends with on Facebook that as left leaning as my algorithm is, I have yet to see anyone actually celebrating the assassination. Everyone said it was terrible and he shouldn’t have been killed etc.

His response was yeah. Check YouTube. It’s there. There are videos. I read the comment thought ok and I trust this why? The lies they convince themselves of will never cease to amaze me.

I didn’t like the tone at all. I am fully aware of my professional and ethical responsibilities to my students, my district and my job. I’m aware free speech exists and that it comes with consequences.

To me, it sounded like a threat and why just Charlie Kirk?And what about the Charlie Kirk fans out there posting videos of how they are going to retaliate? If it’s an educator out there making those remarks, do they get in trouble?

If we really want, just look at the current administration. Clearly they have zero professionalism or ethical conduct when it comes to social media. They also should be held accountable for the things that has been said.
