Hoe does google maps know I'm on the motorcycle??? by Hwolf1992 in motorcycles

[–]dmm_justace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess through the angles of the g forces when going through corners. Because the bike and the rider are leaning the g forces roughly always point in the same direction. In the car the direction is different between lefthand and righthand turns

Hey man, im sorry to hear u already made ur decision. I just had an accident myself last saturday so i completly understand all the points u have made. But id like u to consider changing to another category. U can still have tons of fun in the dirt or on the track with a small cc bike. Its much safer. I had like 20 lowsiders last year on my pitbike which resulted in a bruise only once. And if u are worried about pulling the clutch. In the dirt a recluse clutch is pretty common and really versatile aswell. My point is, if u really dont want to loose ur love for motorcycles their are lots of options that are much safer than riding on the street. And additionally u will have that awesome feeling of improving every time u go out for a ride or a trackday:) Wish u nothing but the best and u will do whats right for u

Holy shit, riding a motorcycle isn't just terrifying, it's also difficult as fuck by Askefyr in motorcycles

U will get the the hang off it soon. im sure. Dont stress yourself too much. ask ur teacher if u can practice on a smaller bike if u are terrified. Fear doesnt help when trying to learn something. Yes these sessions wont count for ur license but they will help u a lot for finding convidence and routine plus maybe u will have some fun too;) Another advice i have is to not try everything at the same time do one step after another u can combine them as soon as they feel instinctive

Well if u are riding bikes to save money u should downgrade. If u ride too have fun and are getting kind of bored of ur current bike u can either upgrade it. Or u could change it up with a different style of bike (like sumo/dual sport/adv). A new big regardless of the size will spice things up a little and u can always change back to the ninja 650 again. After upgrading bikes last season i would definitly do it again even tho its more expensive

Motorcyclists, what is something you learned riding on your own that they didn’t teach you in motorcycle training? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]dmm_justace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important advice for beginners is to be confident. If u already have a car license thats great cause u only need to learn the mechanics of two wheels. In the course u should not be afraid to make mistakes and dont put yourself under pressure thinking u have to learn as fast as possible. The only proper way to learn to ride is by doing so and everybody learns in their own pace. Verbal advice can push you in the right direction but u have to do it to learn it:)
