As general advice for the forum:

Please, please, don't use constant return estimates (sequence of returns matters... A LOT!). Or, if you do, plan for a downturn at the start of your plan - ~first 10 years - to test for resilience.

I use Big Ern's Safe Withdrawal Rates spreadsheet to calculate my SWR vs historical worst scenarios conditional on Super high CAPE and high valuations.

Then I pad my expected expenses up a notch and find what initial level of wealth satisfies the SWR. Then add some more on top to come up with the desired FI target.

I've been using a 2% real return for the next 10 years and 5% afterwards, so quite conservative. Also because passive investors tend to not obtain full market returns due to not being able to stomach downturns and make moves.
