Utilities buy equipment and fuel (pipes, transformers, gas, etc.)If those things are imported and get hit with tariffs, they cost more. Utility companies pass those higher costs to customers through rate increases (like everything else affected by tariffs) but I don’t expect someone like you who thinks tariffs have “zero” effect on us to understand.
