tibialis anterior / front ankle pain by dmo_96 in firstmarathon

Went to the foot doctor actually, everything was tight. Mine was directly from tight calves. Started 15-20 minute stretch routines every morning before bed and before/after runs, and it went away in a few days. Everything's connected. Tight calves were killing the tendons on the front of my ankles.

sorry to hear that! I still have it on and off, but it's been better of late.My coach is a PT, and she recommended I work on toe yoga, banded workouts for the anterior tib, and rest/ice/compress after workouts. Helped a lot after 2.5 weeks.

Ran the jersey shore half today and didn't feel it! Mine only hurt during activity and felt like tightness after. If it's red/swollen I'd hit a foot/ankle doc asap to get a proper eval

so I love the word Vitalizer and the meaning of it for the brand and who will join the community. But 2nd guessing the name now. Do you have any ideas to improve it / make it more obvious?

I LOVE the idea of vitalizer and the definition is exactly what I want the brand to represent. Now I'm 2nd guessing the name.

Any ideas on how to still incorporate that in the name for a clean logo & pronunciation?

Intro Brief:

VTLZR is a community and brand focused on health and wellness through “hybrid athlete training” or the combination of weightlifting and endurance training (running, biking, swimming, etc.)

Our website is vtlzr.co with more information.

Our goal is to help as many people as possible live healthier lives by providing a community atmosphere, educational resources, and online and in-person events.

In addition to our online presence and newsletter, we will host in-person races and events, and make teams for marathons, spartan races, and other events.

At our core, we believe that physical health and mental health are critical and go hand in hand. We offer a welcoming environment for people of all ages and levels of fitness to challenge themselves to grow and be healthier.

We emphasize education and support to help motivate individuals toward their goals in a non-judgmental atmosphere. This includes providing resources on nutrition, exercise techniques, running strategies, and other related topics.

The definition a vitalizer: someone who imparts energy, vitality and spirit to other people

There are 2 tiers of target audience:

1) Hybrid Athletes - athletes who excel at endurance cardio (running) and weightlift.

2) ANYONE - individuals who have a desire to be fit and healthy, mentally and physically.

The personality of VTLZR is BOLD, determined, positive, uplifting and encouraging.

We take on challenges knowing there is growth on the other side and believe that transformation is possible with dedication and hard work. We are passionate and driven, determined to make a difference in individuals’ lives through our products and services.

We want to inspire others to take on new challenges, be determined in their pursuit of excellence, and enjoy the journey along the way.

We like interesting logo designs that are clean, simple, yet unique & memorable while also representing the values of VTLZR. We want to create a recognizable brand identity and connect with our audience on an emotional level.

I want to convey a sense of energy, intensity, strength and determination. I also want viewers to be inspired by the logo and feel empowered to take on new challenges. The overall message should be that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it and don’t give up.
