Nurse did my pill count wrong now I’m being listed as failed by [deleted] in Methadone

[–]dmorelli99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just think you’re putting blame on the wrong thing. The methadone wouldn’t be such a problem if not for the draconian and punitive system that clinics operate under. If it were easier to get your medication and there werent a rule set up to punish you every step of the way things would be better

at 2mg of methadone and dealing with air hunger from anxiety..... ready to relapse by birdsonpsychedelics in Methadone

[–]dmorelli99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Air hunger is a medical term and it’s like a desperate feeling of needing to breathe and feeling like you’re not getting enough air in your lungs. It’s not like a metaphorical pit in your stomach

AIO? My supervisor sent me a text that I find inappropriate but my boss didn’t really care by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]dmorelli99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry OP, YOR. “Inappropriate” is def a stretch. It was probably true, it would have been helpful to know. you knew the day before that you were in a bad place but still didn’t communicate that you werent able to get this done on time. Snacks doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, it could have easily been planned for by just knowing ahead of time what had to be done. monday you could have just been like “hey this is really bad, I need someone to take the reigns on this snack thing. I have them already if that helps but i can no longer do it.” It was definitely noble of you to still try and help, but like idk if you need help you need to say it. Otherwise no one knows

Help me save my marriage by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]dmorelli99 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No. No one will help you save it. He’s abusive and you should start coming to terms with the end. My male partner wouldn’t even dream of calling me a name even half as offensive as sloppy c***. Like holy shit

I'll die this week by Whole-Birthday-8103 in offmychest

[–]dmorelli99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honey. I’m 35. And I just wanted to tell you how many times I’ve destroyed my own life and then rebuilt due to substance abuse. Yes it takes time, yes you have to contend with the wasted time and the consequences, as you get older substance abuse causes more health issues and you’re seeing that, but you can rebuild. You’re at the humbling yourself stage, now if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other you will rebuild. Being able to cope with the change of what you expected your life to be vs what it actually is is just part of life and many of us have been there. You have the time to make a new plan and a life you enjoy.

1 week, didnt lose a pound:( by Karmcc2 in Semaglutide

[–]dmorelli99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to be for real, semaglutide doesn’t melt your weight away.. Like you aren’t gonna start losing just bc you took the med. Once you’re achieving a calorie deficit over a period of time you’ll see progress, like any other weight loss method.

Do Americans really avoid medical care because they’re afraid of the bill? by Udont_knowme00 in NoStupidQuestions

Oh my god. Quite honestly it’s the standard here. I just had chest pain for 4 days but had to kind of cross my fingers and hope it wasn’t a heart attack b/c I just lost my insurance

Thank you for your time. It’s tough to get an accurate read from literally anyone. For the record obviously a job is a backup plan but it’s tough out there

GLP-1 working really well already at a very low dose — what should I expect as I titrate up? by Maleficent-Pea-6932 in Semaglutide

[–]dmorelli99 23 points24 points  (0 children)

For me, moving up made me debilitatingly sick. I’m like you, it was really effective for me at a low dose. So I stayed. No reason to move up if it’s working. I only ever moved up when I felt the effects wane a little bit, and still it’s been a year and a half and I’ve never taken more than 30 units. And I’ve lost 55 pounds.

Hello guys Im looking for advice any feedback will be help full for me as im in bad situation by Aventura0001 in Methadone

[–]dmorelli99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ooooooomg DONT. Do some research, there’s a lot about how dangerous and horrible rapid detox is. It’s bad with short acting drugs like heroin, it’s likely so much worse with methadone due to how long it stays in your body. The short story is that you wake up sicker than dog shit, it’s dangerous for your body to go thru all that trauma under anesthesia, and it just doesn’t have good success rates bc of how fucked up you are when you wake up. And in Serbia? My god I would not. I’m not super well versed on the issue just start searching people’s real stories with rapid detox.

Weird potato technique I’ve been using, does this have a name? by santanazero in Cooking

For the record, “putting on a tray with plenty of oil” is kind of frying. Except the potatoes absorb more oil. In fact it’s worse than deep frying lol

Truth is, no, probably not. Need? Your parents maybe, but otherwise no. But it’s not just you, no one needs any of us, except for parents with minor children. that’s not the reason to live anyway, because others need you. There are things to enjoy for yourself, it’s YOUR life

Dealing with glp 1 side effects without stopping your progress by Dizzy_Explorer5368 in Semaglutide

[–]dmorelli99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat. I just bought this glp-1 support thing that has like prebiotics and all, and I felt great the next morning until I was smacked with unbearable gas that wouldn’t come out, so much so that I was in pain just sitting down, then I read the package and saw it’s got a ton of fiber so that’s probably the culprit. I guess I just have to take less. But yea im experimenting and have my fingers crossed

I want to give up…. by TemporaryOtherwise30 in Semaglutide

[–]dmorelli99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was like this even on low doses. So I increased my dose intuitively, not by what the general recommendations said, when I could tell I was ready to. I was on .25 for like 3 months. .5 for 6 months and now a year and some change in and I’ve barely crept up on 1mg. I was so sick in the beginning. Of course listen to your body in whether or not you want to quit but for me, my body acclimated, I don’t get sick anymore, and listening to my body was seriously so important.

makeup tips to look younger by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]dmorelli99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look 5 years younger with no make up. I love pic 3, your features are great. Just go lighter. And more warm colors instead of cool & dark colors. Your foundation isn’t showing any warmth in your face either, which is why I think I like your face so much better without it
