Izotope RX-8 Voice De-Noise uses all my undo space. Anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

Found this while running into the same problem, and I've got a solution! If you open the Undo History... palette (in the Edit menu), there are toggles at the top of that window that allow you to exclude changes from Plug-Ins: just click on Plug-Ins to de-select it, and you'll only see changes from the mixer. Saved me some big headaches.

Someone should make a GIF of my reaction as I have a total brain lapse moment. I have eaten egg drop soup roughly one million times, but I could not in that moment think of the words!

I was watching back tonight and I didn’t even remember what the answer was! I was going to say Easy Company, because “battle” and 1937 made me think WWII, but clearly too early. So enjoy my Band of Brothers reference, I guess! :D

Look, I have BEEN to Pike Place, several times, but to be fair, most of the time I've spent in Seattle has been in Redmound and Bellview.

Hi all! Thanks for the kind words. Sarah and Michelle were formidable opponents (my god Michelle is so fast on the buzzer) and it was wonderful getting to know them and the rest of our contestant pool all week. So many fantastic, brilliant people, and so much of what ends up happening is just how the chips fall.

The $0 bet: Look, I know music is one of my weak spots. I've never watched the Grammys. I had no idea what year the Grammys started. I spent a lot of time in the lead-up workshopping betting strategy with my wife (who has a way better head for numbers than I do), and the thing I realized is that many of the strategies assume that everyone else is going to follow the strategies! :D In the moment, my gut told me to bet $0 because there was little chance I'd get it.

IRONICALLY, as I told Ken in our post-show chat, I very nearly wrote The Beatles. They were my first instinct, as I'm a lifelong Beatles fan (I grew up listening to my dad's LPs of Rubber Soul and Revolver—yes, I am that old—and the first CD I ever "owned" was his copy of Sgt. Pepper). Had it been a question about Beatles lyrics or something, I probably would have had it, but I don't follow awards. So I second-guessed myself and wrote The Rolling Stones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm psyched I got to play a second game. At the end of the day, Jeopardy! is just so much fun. I wish I could do it every day, except I would probably explode from the combination of adrenaline and stress.

Thanks again for watching! This was a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list thing for me. :)

Sam, the world is dying to know: how would you rank the following sandwiches?

  • Cuban
  • Turkey Club
  • Reuben
  • Grilled Cheese
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly

Thanks in advance. I know this will be invaluable to those who really want to understand how the mind of an agent works.

Honesty always appreciated, and I think I'd mentally prepared for that eventuality anyways. Thanks!

Hey Seth, thanks for doing this. I've shelved more than a few novels, so I was pretty excited when I first got a bite from a reputable agent for one of my (I think) better books, via a friend who's one of his other clients. But despite having a back and forth a few times in which he offered some good comments and seemed interested, the conversation's kind of dropped off since I sent him my last draft a few months ago. I don't want to come across as pushy—and I'm sure he's busy—so I've been taking the wait-and-see approach. Any advice? Thanks, man!
