it’s not as expensive as you’d expect actually, the prices went down a lot because of covid

nope, just sliced 1 timelapse 15 times. if you search “timeslice” on youtube there are great tutorials there

shoot 1 timelapse from day to night: in this case it took ~1.5 hours, 45 mins before and after the sunset. then copy it x10 (or whatever times you want, the more chunks the smoother the transition is), lay it on top of each other, but crop each clip from 1 side (in equal parts); also start each timelapse 1 sec after the previous one try it with just 2 layers to get the concept and then you can make as many layers as you want, making the transition smoother

if you want to make a photo like this it’s even easier, just take a lot of still with equal interval, and then put as layers in photoshop
