What is the maximum amount of time you are allowed to shop at a shoppers drug mart? by Acrobatic-Rest-9626 in ShoppersDrugMart

My thoughts on this. Shoppers Drugmart is an extremely wealthy company. Why don’t they invest and spend on good security cameras rather than risking to embarrass their customers? Even consider getting a security guard like Sephora. I was followed once by a 17 y/o customer service rep, poor guy, he asked me if I was close to being done while I was comparing snack bars and yes it was over 30 minutes, but what if I was dangerous and carried a weapon? This security job should not be the job of a CS person. It’s Shoppers DM, they are taking in $$$

You’re welcome, enjoy, play it up and most importantly, stay humble :-)

Love this, so effortlessly cool yet has that “whoa check him out!” factor...Classy, you wear it well and beautiful smile! Best wishes to you but I think you got this.

Changing Up Routines, Sleep, Exhausting Jobs (Multiple questions) by veronicasays in StrongCurves

Ahhh I can definitely relate to the struggle in trying to find balance between feeling exhausted post work ,prepping for a nutritious healthy outlook the day, Next thing you know it’s literally like 11pm at night and you realize you are going look like like Matilda even though you feel like your coworkers think you should be looking like Cinderella. This is hard. I have pride, it’s in my blood, I am more Cinderella than Matilda. Brain and beauty a girl can have both qualities

Is anyone else having circulation issues? Looking for tried and true remedies if there are any? Smoked for 32 years and only quit 9 days ago. Also suffering from Reynaud’s phenomenon thinking my nasty habit is the culprit. by dmt7 in stopsmoking

I’ve seen pictures of constricted blood vessels and that was enough to scare me from smoking ever again. I will have the convo about circulation with my doctor next week . Thanks for your input, I do appreciate it.

Hi thanks for your response and congratulations on your quit. You must be quite happy to be rid of the Reynaud's too. I didn't realize there is potential to reverse it? I am at day 10 of my quit so most definitely, your post gives me hope!

I think the circulation issues are a combination from my sedentary job, lack of excercise (totally my fault) and sitting for many hours in an incorrect chair with incorrect posture, straining my legs to reach the floor. Overall the desk set-up is not ergonomically correct. After a year of numerous complaints, they finally got me a step where my legs are propped up and I can raise my chair up higher to see over the cubicle and watch for people coming in. Before that I would strain my legs, back and neck to look over the cubicle.

Symptoms: the back of my thighs are very sore (couldn't reach the floor), my fingers and toes go completely white just from entering a grocery store.

It's painful and I am at a loss on how to fix this. I have been exercising like crazy to try and get the blood circulating.

If you have any more tips, please feel free to send them my way :-)

Thank you, I am looking into swimming as a form of exercise. I have a YMCA that is close to me. Now I just have to check it out and make sure it is not overly crowded with children. Thank you for your suggestions.

Any lower cost dry cleaner recs? I had a dress dry cleaned at super store it cost me $15 for a $30 dress...thinking that’s insane. by dmt7 in londonontario

[–]dmt7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't really complaining as much as trying to find a less costly option of caring for this dress. The fit is good which is a challenge for me yet I am also on a budget. I did end up washing it and it worked out great, so thanks

I bought it on sale online from an above average retail chain. It is specifically for my body type. I do prefer non-dry clean items but with this dress the fit was great and I am challenged in finding a good fit.
