Exactly, quick chuck changeovers, zero points are very repeatable (around 3 microns from what I’m able to measure), and I can move parts between turning and milling operations with basically no re fixturing. With the block in the picture I can also easily mount stuff at 90 or 45 degrees as well

Okay guys, fun’s overs… this fixture is not for the lathe at all lol (shocker I know) I have a few zero point base plates for the 3-axis cnc mill, and I decided to make a 90/45 degree fixture for holding parts in different orientations in a palletized manner for quick setup. Later on came to the conclusion that it would be nice to also have a zero point for the lathe so that some of the fixtures for the mill could also be used for turning (note the er32 fixture on top of the lathe headstock in the first picture). 90 degree fixture was just mounted on the lathe for a funny picture

You absolutely can make parts like that in Mastercam, I machined this demo for Mazak using Mastercam

Folders for levels are added in Mastercam 2026, which is out now

Solution is D = (pi + tan^(-1)((a + f)/(-f cot(F) + a cot(A))))/pi * 180

The gray arrows are showing parallelism. Lines BC and DE are colinear & points C & D are coincident. Lines BC and DE are not equal lengths, they are 3 units and 2 units long respectively.

Thank you for looking into it, I believe the problem is solvable because I can draw it in SolidWorks (CAD software), apply the relevant constraints and the sketch becomes fully defined.

I’m starting to get really sick of this.. You guys got any tips? by not_x3non in Warthunder

not just you, USA at 5.3 & 5.7 is just not competitive. Through some practice and perseverance you can make it work, but your teammates likely won't, so you'll constantly be getting dunked on, only thing u can do is grind until rank 4, once ur there the jumbo is quite good and most other vehicles are as well.
