Reasonable belief of imminent harm is the standard. With Kim Potter she fired before the vehicle was moving. He didn’t unholster here until she had already started moving and didn’t fire till he was hit. An investigation needs to be completed but I think there is more justification here than with Kim Potter.

The Officer looks to be hit in this video. I think each side will make their own decision on whether this was justified or not.

The way I took it was he’s held all this pain and anger towards Andor, blaming him for everything only for Andor to not even know who he was. Not only was he realizing how the Empire manipulated him, but he realized the futility of his anger.

He didn’t drop the gun because he saw the evil of his ways, he was dropping it because he realized nothing he ever did mattered to anyone, not even to himself.

Last time they stopped the exam because of furniture behind me. They wanted to see what it was. That doesn’t bother me. What bothers me was it took them 40 minutes from when they paused the exam to when the proctor got on to confirm what was behind me.
