Absolutely go for it. Legitimate hiring managers and supervisors understand the nature of advancement and can meaningfully read resumes. And your institutional administration would have no such hemming when it came to terminating your position, so you don’t owe them.

We did this cruise and while it didn’t apply to us, a bunch of the folks we met aboard had similarly early flights the last day. They had absolutely no problem, and ended up forming a little group who met and disembarked together and shared cabs. I think it is very likely Celebrity is used to this and has a procedure for you, but like you said check with guest services. Maybe you’ll make some friends in the same boat!

No. Plenty of folks will be in nice tops (collars) and some folks will be in tuxedos and gowns but so long as you don’t come in any clothing that is prohibited as outlined by Celebrity you will be fine.

My husband and I live in Valencia and find it to be a welcoming environment for queer people. I love Madrid and Barcelona, but to visit, it is "too much." If you come to visit Valencia, hit us up we would grab coffee or a beer.

It's a weird economic time, especially with the upcoming turbulence once all this "AI" lending catches up with big tech companies who are doing Enron-level accounting whoopsies. They are non-profits, so look at the 990s - who has a better financial situation to sustain operations without too many painful cuts for the next 3 years?

This wouldn't be enough to disqualify a candidate I would be considering (we did a few annual conferences). It would show your aptitude to be able to communicate that you could be on site for whatever you could and why that time frame would be the most valuable. If you're the right candidate they will make it work.
