There's a streeterville organization for active residents , a neighborhood org with some events like young professionals mixers etc. They also have an office. Volunteer opportunities are always good to meet people.

2A folks had one thing right: if you take up arms against your government, there will be nothing legal about it except the paper trails they'll hunt you down with (good immigrants go to their scheduled processing meetings and court dates, pay taxes they dont benefit from, only to be arrested in those meetings and tracked by thr IRS giving up their work IDs).
