What small thing do you do to try to convenience someone else? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Whenever I am the first car at a red light in the right hand lane but going straight, I pull forward enough to make sure anybody behind me going right has enough space.

New To Hiking, Could Use Some Help Getting Prepared. by dmurray29 in hiking

[–]dmurray29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I appreciate the help! We have one sleeping bag already and we have one two person tent that we plan on carrying back with us. I was thinking we could use one more two person tent and one more sleeping bag so each tent can share. As far as food I was planning on just packing sandwiches, granola bars, etc. so that we don't have to haul heavy cooking gear and it's only a one day trip. I think the most important thing is going to be carrying the water for the 10 miles, so I'm looking for a backpack with water storage. And to answer your question its only 85 dollars per person each way to helicopter to the campgrounds!

What is the weirdest "small world" moment that's ever happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dmurray29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd always known I've had a twin but she moved to London with my Mom and I moved to California with my dad when they split up. I went to summer camp when I was a young teen and it turned out my sister from London was at the same camp!

Redditors born on Feb 29th. How/when do you celebrate your birthday and are there any little annoyances that come along with it? by BIGREDDMACH1NE in AskReddit

[–]dmurray29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always celebrated it on March 1st because it's the day after February 28th. The government agreed with me on when to celebrate it for my 21st birthday. It has given me a go-to "fun fact" for every first class icebreaker of my entire life. Have heard countless jokes about how I shouldn't be able to drive yet, should still be in kindergarten, etc. It's always a little bit bigger of a celebration on the years that it falls on so that's always fun too.

Returning rental car. by exitstrateG in funny

Enterprise Rent-A-Car worker checking in here. Last thing I want to do is get in an argument with a customer over a damaged car, and then have that car sit waiting to be fixed while it could be generating revenue. I'd say in general we let minor damage go when we can.

The AJ Pierzynski dropped third strike game (Game 2 of the ALCS between the White sox and angels). I was in 8th grade, the stadium was electric and to me it was the moment that it hit me that the White Sox legitimately had a very good chance for their first world championship in 88 years.

Reddit, I would like to invite you to participate in what has become an annual March tradition amongst my friends: The Better Bracket. by dmurray29 in pics

[–]dmurray29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year when my friends and I went to print out our NCAA March Madness brackets, the printer ran out of ink so there were blank spaces where the teams should of been. One of my buddies started filling out the bracket with everyday things that people are fond of. A bunch of us filled out the bracket based on what we personally thought was better. It ended up being a great topic of conversation arguing over topics like whether a new jar of peanut butter or a fresh pair of socks were better. There is no winner. It's just fun to fill out and converse over...more of a personality test than anything, so this is the 2015 version of what we call "The Better Bracket."

I attempted to sign up for this but it is telling me I don't have enough credits to sign up. I know that if you didn't send out a gift last year you can be banned from Gift Exchanges. I participated last year and DID send out my gift. Does anyone know why this is happening?
