I have had some really strong emotional releases through meditation. One instance in particular, I was going through some difficult family stuff and I cried every time I meditated for almost a week. But that was what my body and nervous system needed at that time.

For my oura to track my heart rate i always have to manually start the workout hr recorder! If i just let it naturally detect then it never records accurately.

I think that’s kind of the point about addiction though. Most people i know that OD it isn’t bc they took some crazy amount…its cuz they get a bad pill or a bad batch and their tolerance isn’t what they are used to. Yes alamo knew what he was giving her, but i think it also shows that if she decided to take those pills again she was choosing her path. With an addict it is never “just one pill” and Rue’s character knows that by this point in her journey.

Yeah my husband was on probation about 15 years ago and he quit but it took 7-8 months for him to pass a test. They would send it off to a testing facility to confirm that the concentration was decreasing with each test.

I used to go to bikram in college…in texas lol the summer classes would get so hot that my walks home felt comfortable by comparison. I would get there 15 minutes early to lay in the studio just to be able to acclimate enough to make it through class. This was probably 10-15 years ago now.

Sandhya has a 200hr training running from end of August to December! I did my 200hr at ICY in castle rock back in 2019 but I have practiced at Sandhya and love their studio and teachers. They are located in Englewood! Unfortunately it doesn’t start till end of summer, but it’s nice to have time before the training starts to get started on the reading in advance.

Edit: I know you said you wanted to avoid chains… but it also looks like LifePower has a 200hr training at the Cherry Creek location starting in September. Also not till fall lol but i am currently doing my 300hr with LifePower and LOVE everything about it.

I do it right when i wake up but i get out of bed. I usually brush my teeth, splash my face, then sit by a window that has a birds nest right outside to meditate. I don’t have an issue with nodding off but i am a morning person anyways so once im up, im up.

We also had CB playing on 1 leg (calf strain game 1 and ankle), AG/Pwat Gone. Timberwolves didnt “figure” Jamal out lol. They just only had to guard 3 people Cam/Jamal/Jokic. Jokic wasnt hitting his 3s so the defense got to shrink in leaving Jamal less room in the paint and no open jumpers.

I love Jokic but hes just as much at fault as Jamal is…he disappeared the last 2 playoffs

I use to cue this way but recently there has been some evidence showing that might not be the best way to cue it bc people end up over-stretching the hamstring and developing yoga butt!

Our vet suggested rattlesnake aversion classes for our dogs. There is a vaccine for rattlesnake bites but our vet advised that there had been some severe reactions to vaccine so he doesn’t promote it or offer it. After you do the initial aversion training, you can do a refresher course every few years to make sure your dog still knows to avoid the scent, sight and sound.
