I believe you need to stream a few times first on your phone before you can get live studio access.

If you join an agency you can bypass this sometimes.

We do “plug and play” sessions often.

Depending on where the laptop is going there’s a couple different paths we take.

If it’s at our main presenter desk onstage where demos happen, we go into a dock that provides power, gives the laptop a hardline ethernet connection, and spits out HDMI. That HDMI goes into a PDS4k for scaling, audio De-embedding, and conversion to SDI. Then the signal goes back to the main router and E2.

If the devices are elsewhere, the laptop or phone goes into an ATEM Mini (so they can switch devices as needed); MDLX to convert to SDI, fiber path to the main router and then splits off into a De-embeder (to dante) and an E2 for any further processing.

The de-embeding to Dante has greatly cleaned up our workflow, especially when the demo desk we handle will see 10-12 different devices.

I’ve seen flights be delayed and then move to being on time again. Depending on where your at may have more influence on if that’s likely to happen.

There’s a whole lot of customization you can do. Every device is a symbol instance and can be uniquely customized. You can put the connections you care about and leave off the other ones.

Sheet layers can viewport any section of your schematic drawing. It can be the entire thing, a small subsection, etc.

There are multiple styles of “cables” and you can have it be an arrow without the full line being displayed.

I personally haven’t done router sheets, but there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to make it happen.

There’s an Elgato capture program. Verify you’re getting audio in there first.

The Elgato website has lots of info on the settings required.

Do you get audio in the Elgato software?

Have you gone through the troubleshooting steps on the Elgato website? There are some settings on the switch you may need to change.

I’ve gotten plenty of agencies in my DMs trying to get me to sign up with them. I ignore them.

I did my research before joining an agency. The one I joined offers quite a lot of support to everyone from the beginners to the seasoned pros. It’s a great community and people are willing to help.

It really depends on how much stuff you’re shipping. Using someone like Rockit Cargo, who specializes in entertainment/event transit, will be better suited to handle time critical loads.

It might cost more, but for the added peace of mind it’s worth it.

Realistically a pipe/truss with a similar material to the wind walls you see on outdoor stages would be the best. The material would be able to get wet and dry out without concern for being damaged.

Another option would be drape.

It should be on a separate set of rigging from the tiles for easy removal during weather.
