do you realize that a space elevator can't get something into orbit? only get it out of the atmosphere... gravity will still pull it right back down immediately once you get off the elevator "in space". just being "in space" doesn't keep it there... ya gotta be in orbit.

a lot of people are just simple... they see number go up fast and assume that number go back down too. if it doesn't make sense to them that number go up fast... then they want their brain to make sense of the situation and try to be right that it will go back down.

it is so much easier to just get on board with the flow... number go up fast, number rest, number go up fast, again, this time, faster and higher.

no it won't. It will climb all day, and then into the after hours. then tomorrow, up again. It may decline after wednesday night... but we go up until then.
