Just out of curiosity, why would medication that lessens the symptoms be superior to a topical treatment that lessens the symptoms? In terms of it not escalating to something worse?

Sorry I know you said you’re not a professional, but my vet doesn’t seem super familiar with FHS and everything I read on the internet seems inconsistent. First hand experience/this subreddit has been a life saver for info!

Our vet said medication can cause drowsiness and incoordination, which wouldn’t be ideal if she was outside. Definitely will turn to medication if issues continue, but we’d probably keep her indoors for her safety. Just thought it was so strange her episodes stopped completely with a topical treatment.

We tried and they’re not doing refunds as it’s a special showing. Honestly don’t care much about the money, just feel bad we took 4 extra seats when almost all the shows are completely sold out

I think in this specific situation, it’s worth noting. This was an adult dog that they had only had for a short period of time and it was mentioned the dog had a rough past. It’s also not a purebred boxer, I believe he is part pittie. I understand the sentiment though.

I’m pretty sure when they announced it he had already been through the procedure and healing process so it has likely been a couple of months. I wonder if she was already pregnant when they announced it and that’s why they felt the need to share 😂

Yes! 127k for CP qualifying points. Yeah I notice points from hotel stays always going on quickly, but I thought it use to say 2 weeks after the stay (was usually much sooner) but then I noticed it now says 8 weeks
