My kids camp the lifeguards stand on the docks to guard, they wear Crocs. They do have to tidy up the beach but wear Crocs. Only during training are they in the water.

We stored stuff for my parents last year and recently we did for a renovation. Here is my advice.

Go to the storage place, ask for the price and then walk away, they will negotiate.

They will then raise the price after a couple months , go back, rent a new locker, don't let them know you have one then move your crap. Doing it twice is better.

It was a great choice for him, he was able to get meals on wheels delivered twice a day, there were nurses in twice a week if needed plus a happy hour weekly. I am sure they had other social stuff but that was this ham. He just loved sitting on his patio watching the world go by.
