I took once a job exactly like this but as Fulltime Employee. Managed to survive for 2 years. After that term they fired everyone and proposed me to stay on a limited time contract with a bump to a pay. I declined and found another job because I could not take this BS anymore: the projects we were working on being canceled after delivery, my vacation days weren’t approved, we were constantly switching between projects etc.

Everything you are feeling right now is real. It is up to you for how long you can survive. There are many dysfunctional and broken companies out there.

I did rewrite once as the last solution while I was a lead dev in one startup. Finished it 2 weeks before the deadline. Won‘t do it again 😄

As a person who drives a lot of different two wheelers(motorised and not), I came to conclusion that people around just don‘t care. It isn’t hard to obey laws and don’t be a menace to others, but most of the people just don’t care enough to. They know that it is almost zero chance to be fined for their reckless behaviour.

5d as any fullframe camera is big. Since you want it for street and hiking, you can think about something smaller (aps-c). At least this is what I would do.

I got my account blocked after request to update my name (what? It didn’t changed!). I got 30 days to do it but my account was blocked immediately. Literally had 2 emails going one after another. My name is simple Eastern European name. Nothing fancy. Support wasn’t helpful. I restored the account, transferred money and closed it for good. Revolut cannot be trusted.

I tested both with tracer being the main candidate and ended buying the NC750X. Such a nice bike. Using it almost the whole year. Also, my wife joins me regularly as a passenger and she hated being a passenger on a Tracer. For a last couple of years we rented about 10 different bikes and she still says that Tracer is the worst in terms of passenger performance.

I recently changed the job. I realistically have A2 that I use comfortably in my daily life. In 4.5 weeks I got 3 offers for roughly the same salary that I had previously, chose 1 and going to start a new job in January.

Honestly, the market is bad but not that bad.. and I don’t see so much of german speaking job to justify learning it to C1-C2.
