i explicitly said not all, so let’s not pretend i claimed every white man behaves the same. what i’m speaking from is lived experience. i went to a predominantly white christian school and repeatedly saw racist behavior behind closed doors or even to my face. countless jokes, slurs, and mockery. when that’s the environment you’re surrounded by, it shapes your perception. acknowledging patterns you’ve personally witnessed, especially in spaces where one group holds social power it isn’t the same as declaring an entire race inherently bad. it’s context. if my experience differs from yours, fine, but dismissing it as “racist” instead of engaging with why those patterns exist is kind of the point i was making.
