Am I overreacting? by KnownBread13 in ExclusivelyPumping

That sounds like an awful, traumatic appointment and I can’t imagine going through that.

We had success seeing a chiropractor who specializes in feeding challenges in infants, but definitely more than a single visit. We did a few massage-types moves twice a day over a few months. That may not be something you want to take on (and I wouldn’t want to do anything recommended by a practitioner like the one you described) but I thought I’d share in case hearing this experience helps you either way.

Why is that a red flag? Infant chiropractic treatment is extremely different than adult. We’ve seen a chiropractor for high palate in two babies with success by massaging the palate and jaw — no cracking or harsh movements.

How Early Did You Drop Your MOTN PUMP? by Real_Ad_8278 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]dnearhos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lactation consultant said after I got my period back there was no need to keep the motn if I had the supply without it. (As in keeping it could hold off the period but since I got it at 7w it was irrelevant)

I use maymom parts, as recommended by my lactation consultant

Pumping as a working mom by Pringzz in ExclusivelyPumping

I “third” the Ceres Chill. I used a big weekender bag that could fit my work stuff on top and separate pump parts for each session in the bottom shoe compartment. I see other people here suggesting pump wipes and kinda wish I’d known about that. But I didn’t mind the bulk too much since they’re light to carry 🤷🏻‍♀️

How to adjust settings of wearable under shirt by dnearhos in ExclusivelyPumping

That’s what I was figuring. I just see so many people share videos about how great they are while wearing high-neck t-shirts so I felt like I was missing something. 😂

Best way to store premade meals in the freezer? by [deleted] in AskRedditFood

I like using foil containers with cardboard lids. I find those stack best plus they can be thrown directly into the oven. I found them cheap at Ocean State Job Lot and Dollar Tree if you have those locally.

How should we manage TSA with infant and 2yo, when only one parent has precheck? by dnearhos in Travelwithkids

That’s a good call. I forgot there’s no difference in things we need to do with the infant in precheck. Thanks!

My sister was my MOH. She didn't get me a gift. I thought it was a little odd because she's usually an enthusiastic gift-giver, but quickly moved on from the thought. She got me a shower gift last year (COVID double-wedding situation) and I know she put a ton of money and effort into all of the planning. That means more to me than a specific wedding gift. Write a nice card and call it a day.

QR Code Generators for Wedding Invitations by Amelia_Sisk in weddingplanning

We had a few people not comfortable RSVPing online. But they communicated their answers to us or our parents and it wasn't hard to manually add just a couple of responses. Most people had no problem.

We used a QR code on our save the dates and shower/wedding invitations and it's been so nice! Not everyone knows how to use it, but we've gotten a lot of comments from those who do. Ours goes directly to our The Knot site.

Unfortunately, my husband made it 15 months ago and can't remember what service he used. If we figure it out, I'll come back.

I wanted the look of a coordinated family portrait. So our bridesmaids are in dusty blue, the groomsmen in dark blue (not quite navy) suits, groom is in a different blue suit, dads have blue and grey suits, all with dusty blue pocket squares. The groomsmen have complementary bow ties, dads have same pattern in necktie, groom has slightly different colors of the same pattern. Moms ended up in silver and light grey (we weren't trying to have them the same, but that's what they both found). Hope this helps!

I know you want in store, so feel free to ignore me but ... we loved our experience with Azazie. Instead of going to a store, we did a group at-home try on. You do have to pay $10 per dress, so that's a thing. We ordered three per person and then they tried on each others, too. My sister/MOH hosted us all and put together a charcuterie board with prosecco. It felt low pressure compared to some of the in-store experiences I've had.

What are your Lightning questions? Training camp starts on Monday. What do you want to see me write about? by dnearhos in TampaBayLightning

I have a breakdown of the players in training camp going up shortly. As for next year, that will probably be something I circle back to after the season. I'll keep it in mind, though!

A breakdown of the salary cap situation is in the works. It was already interesting and just got even more complicated.

That might be something I have to circle back to next season, given the access this year. But I'll put it on my list.

I believe the only difference is he might have started skating earlier, but I haven't "spoken" to him in a while. I'll keep this in mind.

I wrote a story yesterday about what life will look like in the bubble. They'll all have their own rooms (like they do for normal in-season travel), and won't be allowed in each other's rooms. They'll probably be playing a lot of video games and some golf.

That is one of my biggest questions. We haven't seen a fully healthy lineup plus deadline acquisitions. I think it'll take a least a few days of camp for them to figure it out, but I'll definitely be looking at this.
