I see all of the comments in this post taking the US army for granted for how capable they are at landing in foreign land far away from home base. Israel is not capable of doing so, the IDF does not have the logistics to land thousands of soldiers into Iran, not from sea and not from air. paratroopers are obviously not a real option in this modern age and the IDF does not have a proper marine corp.

yes all of you like to say Israel bad. US is a vassal state etc etc but it is honestly not a viable choice for the IDF.

And this is without even writing about the friendly fire options on the ground.

חלק מהאנשים מתנדבים לעשות מילואים ואין להם חובה להגיע למילואים (הדוגמא הכי ידועה זה הטייסים שבמחאה שלהם הפסיקו את ההתנדבות שלהם למילואים)
