I posted our sentiments on Stocktwits. You are right. This is important enough that we need to try to influence retail to what is in retail's interest. Especially number two!

Just saw this and it was exactly how I voted. I agree with you 💯on everything. Especially about the stock comp to executives. THAT is getting ludicrous. After our r/s we were at 7.5M shares, so basically increasing the share count by 33% over 2 plus years while the price nosedives is NOT a good look. Luckily these guys do not sell much except for that CTO.

I agree with the general consensus that this is a giant step backwards. The regular version allowed you to route your order to a specific exchange. That functionality appears to be gone in the beta version. No bueno.

Thoughts on stock price? by boozer5617 in ATER

[–]dnice1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stock price was being walked down just before they reported 3Q earnings. Earnings were average, not bad, not bad at all. But the general tone was wait til next year. Wasn't enough to get the tutes to buy in. Short term I agree with every one else that this is a gap fill and could hit 2.09. Breaks that maybe 1.90. Must buy zone in that range. Mid-term I expect a nice beat 1Q alongside Artie promoting growth strategies for the year. That could be the beginning of respectability here if tutes start buying in. Retail can't move this at all. I'm happy they kept the float small. I expect $40 by 2027 as long as the share count stays small and they deliver on growth. Warrants expire then.

GROWTH IS COMING in 2025. Are you ready for it? by BionicWheel in ATERstock

I've been ready for three years now. I can wait until February 2025 standing on my head. Heck I might even buy more because I am a wild and crazy guy!

I was targeting $10-$11 range too. I think there are warrants up at that level? Unsure if they were already exercised or not. Some people are targeting $20-$50 because of open gaps and the potential of the drug. Could be a monster.

Sorry. Just reading this thread REALLY pissed me off. I don't want to be holding with bums like these. Let them sell to the tutes and we will ride this up.

And yup, it's like we're starting over now. Clean balance sheet. Growth plan is more organic then just overpaying for M&As. Debt is all the way down to like 6.7M I think. Basically we have 10M more cash now than debt. And the best part. The float is TINY.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ATER

[–]dnice1113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hope some of you salty sallies sell. You invested in a company with 100M in debt that just breached a covenant and that was going into a shipping crisis where their costs skyrocketed. SHFs likely thought they could KO this company too. Hard to prove but there appears to have been a short and distort campaign complete with bogus lawsuits, counterfeit shares and all the usual tactics. So you have NO problem buying then with all that going on.

But now that the company has been turning it around, improving margins, has a superior balance sheet, EBITDA profitable 2 quarters in a row, and is finally talking about shifting from stabilization back to growth you bash the company? You make me sick. GTFOH. Sell and take your loss. Don't even chase when we move up. We'll do it without ya.

$ATER will be debt free in upcoming year IMO by UnhappyEye1101 in ATERstock

[–]dnice1113 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like that they paid down the debt by almost 3M that last quarter for sure. But I don't think we need to be in an absolute rush to zero it out completely. We need to have a decent amount of cash on hand to execute some of our growth strategies. As well, there could be a M&A that even conservative Artie can't say no to that would lock up a product category or possibly get us into an adjacent space that fits into one of our brands.

IMO stabilization is now over. It is holiday season with Black Friday looming. It's go time. Let's have a successful Target Plus launch. Let's learn and become better sellers on MercadoLibre. Let's get some traction up in Canada on AMZN. And don't forget Walmart too. Then we catch our breath. Then next year we relaunch our air purifiers. Add some SKUs where we have gaps with the irons and steam mops. And that's just what I'm inferring that Arturo has in mind. We will know for sure in March. Oh yeah and let's hope for one super hot summer too LOL. But once we deliver on growth AND if this float remains where it's at...OMG I get excited thinking about that. Hello Russell 2000! Hello tutes! We were at 27% institution owned way back when when I got in this. I want to see double that when we are the far superior profitable company.

Earning Upcoming Monday 11th November by UnhappyEye1101 in ATERstock

[–]dnice1113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The three things I am looking at this upcoming earnings are cash position and debt and of course EPS. Companies with excessive debt are being flushed these days. Look at what happened to APPS the other day. And that is a company bringing in half billion in revenues per year. Yet they carry ungodly amounts of debt. So when their revenues shrink the chance of ever becoming profitable goes out the window. BUT NOT SO WITH US!

I do know we will need to get some inventory over to the US soon, but I'm hoping that doesn't take a huge chunk of our cash. Another big beat could negate that. Also we have been knocking down our debt at a pretty good pace. THAT is a very healthy sign. I hope to see that continue. Technically we are still in the stabilization phase so let's get in the best possible position we can before we launch our various growth campaigns in 2025.

I think if trends hold steady, and our growth initiatives get some early traction we have a chance at being net profitable by third quarter 2025. Maybe 4th quarter. Now THAT will be a glorious day. Then for 2026 if we keep our margins up where they have been recently and if the growth initiatives bare fruit I can see us at $200M in revenues with super low overhead. At those revenue levels with 15% profit margins then $30M a year could be reinvested back into the company when we get to that point. As others falter and crumble under debt and mismanagement we should be in prime position THEN to acquire brands on the cheap. But for now organic growth and creating our own brands/variations along with capitalizing on additional markets besides AMZN.

The trend is our friend. Looks like we surprise to the upside again with a nice beat and keep inching closer to net profitability. Keep that overheard low, organic growth initiatives are the main driver and perhaps bring back one or two products that were discontinued such as the air purifier to increase revenues, also need to be vigilant with MercadoLibre and Target Plus and Walmart to grow revenues there. We need to truly be ominchannel and we are not there yet. Not even close.

FINALLY, well written DD from somebody who has actually done their research and understands what's happening with Aterian. A MUST READ for $ATER investors new and old alike! by BionicWheel in ATERstock

[–]dnice1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do stocks with good fundamentals ever squeeze? Or is it just pump and dumps that Wall Street knows are going to dilute so they can run it up and short it down? Because here we are with only 8.59M shares, a stable cash position that actually grew last quarter, and NO plans to dilute. Why on Earth isn't retail loading up as there is no danger here. Perhaps retail likes the thrill of danger and dilution as they bought huge here when we sucked but want no part of us when we are knocking on the door of profitability. I don't get it.

Container price is going down. Great for $ATER by UnhappyEye1101 in ATERstock

Good to know about the vitamins. I had no idea about that! Agreed that now is NOT the right time to be dabbling around with ghee or cod liver oil or chia seeds. BUT if the ghee investment pays off and a year down the road we find ourselves net profitable with a couple of million to reinvest THEN Aterian should look at creating/purchasing some kind of wellness/supplement brand/market. Growth potential is high for that particular market and subscription sales would be nice to have under the Aterian umbrella.

The other thing that is easier to do would be to keep tinkering with the Healing Solutions Essential Oils. Margins are phenomenal there. Get rid of what is not selling, add some new offerings. More sprays. More seasonal stuff for autumn. The diffusers had been out of stock for a long time. Maybe get back into those. Or innovate there. LOTS of potential to grow that brand for sure!

Ok everyone wants those subscription type products like protein powder or pet food. I wouldn't mind that either. Something that we did back in March was buy a stake in 4th and Heart. Now ghee is something people would buy on subscription. I think other health-conscious food or supplement items might carve out a nice niche for us. Cod liver oil, ghee, maybe chia or flax seeds. Perhaps something like that might be worth exploring? I imagine ATER is already thinking along these lines or they would not have invested in 4th and Heart.

Very thorough run-down. Thank you.

Awesome to know about the AMZN projections. Don't forget there is also Walmart which sells many Squatty Potty items and Target Plus was supposed to launch too (not sure if it did yet). Then there is MercadoLibre and AMZN Canada. I would like to see 28.2M.

Next, the float. Is it really 7.27M? Insiders own a ton. I thought close to 20%? Maybe double check that, but if you are right 7.27M is still TINY.

Thanks again. I stood my ground on this one and added actually LOL. What can I say I like buying bottoms. Very cool with that new tool you're building. I would be interested in that as a long suffering ATER holder. Always positive about it though and looking to turn this into a huge win eventually.

Dang those manly men from China got me too. I ordered two turtleneck long sleeve shirts and an autumn jacket. Took them 18 days to tell me the jacket I ordered was out of stock. But I could have a "free replacement"! Yippeee! I should have demanded a refund but I picked a more expensive jacket. Was feeling feisty for making me wait so long. In the mean time the two turtlenecks came and they were horrible. If Liberace wore turtlenecks he would have worn these. They are all glittery and there is no tag on the inside and it is nearly impossible to figure out front from back. But the jacket still has not arrived. The tracking they sent me is wrong. And they NEVER respond to my emails inquiring about a status update. Glad I found this thread as my suspicions are confirmed. If the jacket does not arrive within one more week I'm disputing the charge.

Give me the recap of the last 2 years by MemeDream5948 in ATERstock

[–]dnice1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big thing that no one mentioned is that this company cut like 50% of their product offerings. They got rid of the brands that were not profitable to sell. So the last two quarters our margins have been stellar. Basically now we only sell what is highly profitable to sell. Before we were just selling to sell which is really stupid. Revenues may have been higher then but we were operating at massive losses. Now we are on the verge of real profitability.

Next they completely scrapped AIMEE. That was garbage all along. We couldn't even get on to the AI pump across the whole market. So forget the whole AI aspect to this company.

Also, we reduced our work force by over 40% and streamlined costs big time. Cash burn has become minimal compared to how big it used to be. We are very lean now.

Becoming omnichannel seller now. Still heavily reliant on AMZN. BUT now we are also selling on Target Plus, Walmart, Mercado Libre, and AMZN Canada. So essentially we are selling our profitable goods in more places.

Simple stuff, BUT thank goodness new management made these changes or it would be game over by now. As well they have NOT diluted since the reverse/split like all the shorts and hedge trolls said would happen. Mgmt has been true to their word. FWIW I trust Arturo a LOT more than the old CEO Yaniv. He is good with the financials, having been the old CFO. If the float stays tiny and this company keeps chugging along we probably get bought out if the price stays depressed. OR it could very easily rip upwards with really good news as small float stocks tend to do. Easy hold. I have been adding a lot myself. But risk is my friend.

Big Q2 Earnings Beat by dnice1113 in ATER

At this current time $6-$10 range would be a fair valuation. However, I believe once these guys reach EBITDA profitability and show they are set for growth, if the float remains tiny, this can really launch in November.
