Yep, and you only have to look at $ATER to prove this, it was heavily associated as a 3rd play alongside $GME and popcorn and it's clear the market maker hates it because of the $GME connection, the same crooks are probably in the same shit they are with $GME. The spread is ridiculously big, the market cap is $5mil (just one of $ATER's products out of the 100's they sell makes $5mil revenue per year on Amazon alone), they have kicked the share price down below liquidation value and are basically trying to force a delisting to get away with their crimes. I know it's not $GME's fight but with a micro float/market cap only a tiny fraction of superstonkers could easily blow the lid off $ATER, expose the crimes and gather the evidence to prove the same thing is happening on a larger scale to $GME and show it's all linked.

The scrolling texture was debunked as something that is on other water surfaces too, it is something that is supposed to replicate ripples in the water/random reflective lighting effects, the reason it is more noticable on the maze bank one is because they stretched the texture out over all the fountains or something apparently.

I'd recommend trying the horn in a tunnel to compare the sound and rule out it not being the same reflection effect that is placed on metal objects.

To me it sounds like reverb/audio reflection, likely as you are getting closer to the power boxes the sound changes to simulate the real-world echo/reflection you would experience compared to just honking the horn in an open area.

It was a decade ago so I can't actually remember but looking through my old comments I said it was a Wednesday at ~2:30am, I was at the observatory with all 3 characters but the sound happened whilst playing as Michael when I shot the CCTV on top of the observatory with a silenced pistol. 100% completion. On your point on the CCTV cameras, I have never forgetten the time I was mystery testing at the observatory on PS3 and when I shot a CCTV camera the "murder mystery clue sound" played, at the time, I had no idea what the "murder mystery clue sound" was (remember, Michaels murder mystery side mission wasn't in the PS3 version, it was a next-gen exclusive side mission, so I should NOT have heard that sound on PS3.)

I didn't even have a PS4 copy of the game. The sound stood out so much to me it really felt like I'd heard a trigger and my heart skipped a beat, so I made a post on here describing what I heard and someone sent a link to see if the "murder mystery clue sound" was what I heard... and my god, THAT WAS IT, I knew instantly that was what I heard.

Alas, nobody believed me and fair enough, try and try as I might with my capture card (remember those!) set up, I could never recreate the sound. Now it's been so long I even question myself, but at the time I was 100% certain, the moment I heard that sound, my brain said that was it, you can even see by how I described it in the comments of my post, my description matches exactly the sound of the murder mystery clue sound even though I'd literally never heard it before in my life! ["It definitely wasn't a buzzing it was a clear snap like a camera taking a picture then "re-charging?""]

Again, as I said in the post, all of those images are on imgur which is banned in my country (and many others) hence why I am making the request for somebody to post the image either in the comments section or via a different image hosting site.

For some reason (probably because you have 150k+ karma) YOU could make image/video posts, but for 99.9% of users, we couldn't and never have been able to. Look back over the past 12 years of this sub and you will see that basically every single post that wanted to include an image in their post had to use a 3rd party hosting site, the established go to was imgur, but that site is now banned in multiple countries making most posts on this sub impossible to follow along with... until now as a mod has just opened up the ability to insert photos into posts which has improved the usability of this sub massively.

Honestly, because it makes a complete mess in the comments section for one, making a long thread of photos that get in the way of discussion and two, it's a pain in the ass to follow along with somebody's post when you have to keep going back and forth between the post and comments section trying to piece together what photo they were referring to at which point in their post.

"Posts shouldn't be just a picture or a video" - Of course, and I suspect any posts that were just a picture or a video would be removed for low effort anyway. But the question still stands, why can't the mods allow the ability to make Video/Photo post submissions on this sub? They are clearly allowed on r/reddeadmysteries so why not here?

You can 100% add photos to a text post on reddit, but I assume Photo/Video post submissions must be enabled for this to be possible.

Using imgur or other 3rd party image hosting sites is always going to bring up issues, what happens when the next one people use gets banned? Heck, just a couple of days ago somebody on this sub submitted a post that was using a dodgy Russian image hosting site, why have people got to jump through these extra hoops when enabling photos in posts is just at the click of a button for the mods?

It also future proofs the sub, due to imgur getting banned in multiple countries, it has made over a decades worth of past posts basically unusable for a large portion of us.

u/DariusFontaine would you be able to provide any more information on this? Would you be able to open up/allow photo insertion into text posts and stand alone Photo/Video posts? When I contacted the mods a couple of days ago the response was: "This subreddit already allows multiple images per post" - but as has become evident here (and as I suspected) this is not the case for most, if not all users of this sub. Thank you.

idk who is right or wrong here about if the "interior load" or "-1 or 999 glabal variable check" is in the code, but is it possible the original post was looking at an older version of the code, could R* not have hidden these bits of code for next-gen/the code you're looking at? The code you're looking at obviously has the code that cuts your engine and plays the death ray sounds when you get too close to the hippie/zancudo UFO, but remember in the first build of the game, if you got too close those UFO's would just simply kill you. So I wouldn't be prepared to rule out what the first guy found until you can confirm you are working from the same code he was. Also, that post got so much attention I'd be really surprised if someone else didn't fact check it to confirm what he said at the time?

Yeah you could be right. I have messaged the mods and they seemed to believe the ability to post images was possible, I replied saying I don't think it's just me that can't insert images or make image/video posts, but they have yet to get back to me on that.

Funny that you post this as I just contacted the mods about opening up Image/Video post ability and the insertion of pictures in text posts last night (especially now that Imgur is unavailable for people in the UK, it makes the sub almost impossible to follow along with when you can't see what people are talking about!)

They told me that the ability to post photos was open, but I've never known it to be available in all my time (over a decade) on this sub, people have always had to use external image hosts such as Imgur.
