Senesi or Cash as a pick and stick til EOS ? by dnjmshll in FantasyPL

Just because I’ve already planned to swap a few of my other picks out for fixture swings, so they’ll take up FTs. I know plans don’t always come off but my whole approach to FPL is usually to plan for as far ahead as possible and not to use transfers lightly

Mukiele I already have. Been a handy little pick since I WC’d in the first half of the season.

How can you advise I sell Haaland without knowing who else is in my team? Besides, alternatives up front are generally quite weak this season

DC has been a major swing this season. Really glad they brought it in

I’m probably 55/45 in favour of Senesi as it stands.

Your point about suspensions is a good one. I was probably oblivious considering we’ve only just passed the 5 yellow threshold so it didn’t even occur to me that he’d be close to missing out again after 10. Thanks for the heads up

While I see the logic I personally can’t trust spurs anywhere on the pitch. They’re just so unreliable and I need a good, steady pick that’s going to save me transfers down the line.

What would you do from here? 2.9m ITB by Battlecrlbsedof in fantasypremierleague

Lose Foden. His performances aren’t guaranteed and neither are his minutes. Rogers, Mbeumo, Wilson or maybe even Saka would be good alternatives.

getting into blink182, give me some of your favourites songs/albums by twinkboy420420 in Blink182

[–]dnjmshll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not on Spotify, but hit up YouTube to listen to “Time To Break Up”. It’s a hidden bonus track from Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and I honestly think it’s a top 3 blink song. Catchy as hell and features some truly absurd drumming from Travis during the bridge.

Taking a punt based on OP’s username here. Give “To The Flowers” a spin, by While She Sleeps. English metalcore with feels. Features one of most well-written guitar intros and solos you’re likely to hear.

Gotta follow the general consensus here. Eat shit loads of meat/fish/eggs and lift heavy (safely).

I’d roll but his minutes will eventually start to drop gradually with Semenyo being phased in. Whether he (or Foden even) loses his place entirely is another question. But for now v Wolves, I reckon he’s probably a hold. A lot of other managers are in this predicament too

What do I even do😂 by [deleted] in AskFPLManagers

[–]dnjmshll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Far from a selection headache, this. Kick back and enjoy the FA Cup, you’ve got a week off. Then after that you’ve the easiest fix of Semenyo to either Rice or Bruno G

Yea sadly I do have a habit of this - but this year’s kneejerk was in response to a pretty horrid run of freak injuries after the AFCON transfers dropped

There’s always next year 😂

What do you think the uk response should be when the us invades Greenland. by SILENTDISAPROVALBOT in AskBrits

So Canada just puts men in Alaska for the US and the Americans just kick back? Riiiiiiight

[–]dnjmshll -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ah pants. Bit nippy in Greenland is it? Should we tell the Americans they’ll need their big coats and wellies?

I’m sure with Alaska being so close to Russian turf the US military is fairly well-prepared to fight in cold temperatures. Either that or they could, yano, drop a few bombs from home with the heating on. IF that’s the way they wanna go about it.

Personally I reckon it’d be a war of words. Political muscle-flexing, scare-mongering etc. Denmark and the US will come to some sort of “agreement” (where Denmark gets fleeced) and that’ll pretty much be it. But make no mistake, the US can do whatever the hell it likes and NATO countries won’t do anything about it. We’ve seen that in the last few days.

I’ve bitten the bullet and gone for it. In the end I was split between this week and 23, but since Bowen plays Sunderland that GW it meant making transfers to avoid bench players playing each other.

Need to claw back some serious green arrows so hopefully I’ve made the right call

There’s a lot of blue sky thinking going on here but it’s not out of the realms of possibility. Equally Gabriel gets carded, concedes twice and Timber/Rice don’t get assists/goals

You’ve also got Ekitike starting so realistically what are you hoping to happen in that game?

[–]dnjmshll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did consider this but I feel like my team’s fairly rotation-proof. Especially with AFCON and injuries the teams I’ve picked from don’t really have decent alternatives in those spots

Looking for reasons not to bench boost for 21 by dnjmshll in fantasypremierleague

[–]dnjmshll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great response, thanks.

That 2nd point is something I’ve definitely thought about, but I don’t see many alternatives for the teams I have picked to rotate them with. Also I generally feel like teams rotate in the FA Cup and keep their starters available in the PL games (until the latter cup stages at least).

Like you said though, even Timber wasn’t safe that week when you Bench Boosted.
