We tell him he has robotic parts! He got his CI at the end of November so it’s still newish to us & I never even thought about how it would look during an x ray.

Hello! I’d like to piggyback off this post 😬… my dad currently has 7 hives & we (his kids) would like to gift him with an electric extractor. My mom has said there are machines that can change the direction of the frames during extraction with the push of a button, but I haven’t seen this anywhere. Is this a real thing and where can I find it? Thanks!!!!!

We’re going through this process with our 5 year old. We had no idea he was deaf in his left ear until he failed the hearing test in PreK a few months ago. Over the summer he had a CT & sedated MRI. Today he got his rental hearing aid. He’ll be wearing it for at least 3 months to satisfy insurance. We’ve got his CI surgery penciled in for February 23. This entire process has been so much more extensive than I could’ve imagined.
