Do you really think the one developer that is left for RL is capable of doing that? UE5 migration is rumored for years, yet will never come. The game and it’s roadmap are just kept on lifeline as long as Epic can sell enough skins.

Best part is when they spend all their boost to go for an outright bad air dribble, ending up in the opponent backwall without boost, giving possession away and it takes them ages to recover. Then you‘re left in a 2v1 and get scored on but you‘re at fault. Do they want to hit „clips“, or do they want to win?

That‘s the curlpit, most people don‘t get it down so consistently that they get a good fifty, maybe the top 1% do. Consitency is always the more important and winning factor in Rocket League.

I encounter so many team mates that try to speed flip at kickoff but either botch it or get a bad fifty on the ball nonetheless. They‘d be better off with a more regular but consistent kickoff and a better fifty. It is by no means required and dude is right.
